♥ | My pokémon hate Route 27. Route 27 make pokémon mad. What is wrong with Route 27? >_>
Any tips for collecting the Shiny Leaf on Route 27? My Timid Noctowl just "lets out a roar," "turns its face in a defiant expression," or "makes a face like it's angry!" but most of all, "focuses with a sharp gaze." WHY? This is the last Shiny Leaf I need for Noctowl! crying | ♥

That Must Suck...Try Going to a different Route (like Routes: 10, 16, 25, 38, and 43). And Pokemon Just Don't Like Route's 27, 28, Mt. Silver, and such XD

If I don't find one right away (or after a few mins of searching) I just try a different route. I found them all with my Rydrel (Pidgeot), Careful nature, after going back and forth between routes. It actually got easier after the first few, though according to Serebii and other places it's only supposed to get harder. If not, then I stay on that route until I find it.

♥ | I've already collected the leaves off of Routes 16, 25, 38, and 43. Route 10 doesn't have any tall grass so you can't collect a leaf there even though it's programmed into the game. The only place to get the middle leaf for Bashful, Lonely, and Timid natured pokémon is Route 27, where Yorunozuku (Noctowl) gets mad. gonk Oh, the evils of the pokémon world... | ♥

♥ | FINALLY FOUND IT! I don't know how many hours THAT took...lol... sweatdrop Thanks for trying to help, everyone. c: Looks like Route 27 is just difficult. If I ever have to go back (which I probably will) I'll keep looking for tricks. | ♥

♥ | Shiny Leaf works differently than the fashion items. If they're holding something and I have the option to take it away or not take it away, I usually select "no" because it's usually on a route I've probably already collected the fashion item from that route several times and I don't want too many of one item (I ran out of space in my Fashion Case once o_O). Though, you're right, pokémon do not like to give you fashion items on Route 27, either. xd | ♥

It took me for ever to get my metagross the shiny crown, mostly because of the last two leaves. once you do have enough leaves ( i cant remember if it is 7 or 9) go to the person that lives with the prof. they will turn them into a crown for your pokemon to wear.
the only two good things that come from this are a star on your pokemon card and learning patience. Lots and lots of patience
what i did was find out where the routes were that i needed to talk to my pokemon from the internet (bulbapidea) and then go to each one to collect each of the gold leaves. I did this only because the probability of finding two leaves on one route is slim to none

Beat the records of all 10 Pokéathlon events
Complete all of the pokémon entries in the National Pokédex excluding Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Phione, Manaphy, Shaymin, Darkrai, and Arceus
Defeat 100 trainers in a row at the Battle Tower
I’m perpetually stuck in my quest to complete the last two. :C

I was more surprised that you replied to my thread than anything. You probably shouldn’t make it a habit to bump old threads in the Help forum if the OP’s problem has already been solved, really.

I loved the clasic pokemon games, gen 1-3
4 was ok
but they could have done so much more with b&w
I loved emerald. logged over 400 hours in that game
