I am trying to know the different types so I can know which sect I belong to, or if I am just a little of them all. Please tell me what sects there are and their beliefs. Thanks for the help, my friends.

Have you looked on Buddhanet.net? They all sorts of information about different sects of Buddhism. Also, check out the stickies. They have helpful information as well. I hope that helps.

What is the sect that believes in what the main page on this guild talks about?

What you're looking for might be in Mahayana. I don't know if that answers you question though. I hope it helps. The first page of our sticky talks about a number of different sects - Harry Parachute in particular, a few posts in (I think he's the fourth one in that thread), has a rather good summary of several. It's definitely a good start for a 'what do I believe' kind of seeking.
The five minute intro is really non-denominational Buddhism - it's the basics around which all sects are built. They all have that same basis; just different additional teachings or different methodologies of going about things. That's all.
