 The same questions always went through her mind but she could never answer them. Today was no exception she was thinking about how meaningless her life seemed to be.No one that saw her ever stayed and talked they always an her away thought her weird and abnormal. How could she help but be that way when what had happened log ago had kept her in its grasp? She choose to hide all her fears under her mask and live protected as if no one could see her face they would just forget her and never think twice. She longed to meet someone who went though something like her and manged to get better and live at least semi happy when they grew older..they could become her role model, a friend or possibly something more but she highly doubted that.
She thought of the pure white stallion who had stirred some of her emotions but she knew he would grow tired of hew ways as he was nothing like her..She had no yet met anyone who had gone through pain and suffering like her..not even her brother she took there parents death harder than him as she had been close to both of them. Now she noticed the spirits were coming trying to take over her thoughts but she shook her head not wanting to see them now. They wold just make her more depressed..She wondered when the day would be she met the someone who had the power to change her life..

 Orion was entranced by the nature around him, it was beautiful. The soft buds of spring had already started to show and that made him smile. Orion had always taken comfort in nature, for nature didn't critise him, didn't make him feel inferior or hated. Didn't call him a freak or evil just because of the blood his father passed on to his mother during that fateful night. He wanted to scream, to shout... to do something! But that would bring unwanted attention to him and Orion was use to be invisable, liked it that way in fact. His black coat made it easy to blend into the trees.
Of course, Orion had a soft spot for flowers, always had after meeting Niobe. He understood what they meant for the world.... new life, a new beginning, harmony, but most importantly acceptance. They accepted their lot in life, accepted that they would bloom for a short time, happy and bright, but would wilt all too quickly. Orion wondered if he would ever bloom, if he would ever make an impression on someone and not be considered a freak for it.
He winced. He hated the word 'freak', didn't believe that any creature deserved to be called such a think. He lowered his head and sighed. Being alone was so much easier.He preferred it that way.
"Don't wilt too quickly little flowers." he whispered to the buds that had yet to bloom, "I will come and see you every day so you're not alone." He smiled down at them. Feeling at peace.

The forest was such a lovely place..How she ended up in the middle of the forest she knew not. While she was thinking her feet must of took her here. As she took in the scenery she realized how precious life was. She did not think her life was worth anything but the life of the forest was. Here the ecosystem was very important thing and she thought about it for awhile. She was never one to think much about nature but once she did she felt more at peace.
As she walked on studying nature she thought she could hear a faint whisper. She walked behind the shadows of the trees wondering if her ears were playing tricks.
There that when she saw ... She was unsure what it was pitch black as night standing out like a sore thumb even though she was farther away. She saw it was observing the flowers near it and was ?? Talking to them?? Was whatever this was talking to nature??
Her first reaction was to run and get away from this strange creature but instead of running she ended up walking closer wanting to know what it was. She knew her white hair would give her away but still she wanted to know who or what this thing was.

Orion heard a noise, a faint snapping of twigs and the russtle of leaves.... something was close. His head instantly rose in attention, his ears flicking around him in an effort to pick up more sounds and details..... was he surrounded? Was he about to be picked on like he had been so many times before? A shiver ran down his spin and he felt the urge to run.
But it was too late. He watched as a white and black figure approached him slowly. Voice shaky he called towards the figure, "St...aaay back!" Orion knew he was very unlike most other stallions, knew that he was not suited to that life..... he was a disappointment to his mother, he had not grown up to be a knight like his half brother. Sure, Orion had found himself aiding one or two mares who were in trouble, a small part of him unable to leave them..... but he never went looking for them, never went looking for company from anyone. No.... Orion liked being alone.
Orion folded his wings on his back, the different panels folding on top of each other like a dragonflies until only a single panel was visable on each side. He hated people seeing his wings, the claws and hooks made him a 'freak' the only sign of the kalona blood that riddled and danced its way through his system.
Orion disliked Kalona's. Disliked that part of himself.

Adalyn had frowned under her mask when she heard what she now saw was a huge stallion tell her to stay back. Was he really scared of her..? Was he..like her? It was to soon to assume anything so she stopped where she was expecting this stallion. She took this time to observe him. He was huge and pitch black he had wings to but they seemed to be tightly folded to his side as if he was ashamed of them. He looked like someone who needed help to say the least and she felt the urge to help him. She never felt the urge to help anyone or talk to..She wanted to get to know this one though she could say he looked different but in him she saw herself.
"Do not worry..I will respect what you say.."
She back up more and watched him from a distance wondering if he would just leave or possibly talk more. She did not want this hurt this Stallion she must of felt sad for him since he was so mighty but seemed so afraid of the world. Mostly it was because he remained herself of her scared of the world choosing to take on a personality that was not her to feel safe from the others who would call her names.
Did this one have something he hated about himself..? She hated the fact she could see spirits but that had only made her stronger in life. She did still feel drawn to this stallion and wanted to know more about him.

Orion backed up as well, and when his rump struck the trunk of a tree he nearly jumped out of his skin. He expected her not to be alone, and found that she had accepted his order so easily to be suspisious. His eyes scanned the surroundings brielfy, he couldn't see anything but that didn't mean anything. Orion had never been a good tracker or hunter, had never really had the desire to learn until this moment.
He sighed, deciding it was best to assume he was surrounded and figure out what they wanted..... did they want to use him? Hurt him? Insult him? Or maybe they wanted to kill him because he carried Kalona blood in his viens? He had heard of such groups, destroying everything that a kalona had touched.... Orion had once considered helping them, except that would have meant harming his mother and sister.... which was not an option.
"What do you want?" He called out, his voice shaky with nerves. If he had to fight he would loose..... Orion was anything but a fighter.

Adalyn could feel the fear and tension in the air. She wondered what this stallion thought she was going to do. It might of been her mask but of course she would not take it off for a stranger. She saw him back up even more and hit a tree he nearly jumped up in fright. She wondered what this one had been though to make him so jumpy and afraid of the world.
She has no intent on hurting him she just wanted to speak to him and find out what troubled him. She was no miracle worker but she did know how to help a fellow horse in need or any creature for that matter. She took the risk and approached him stopping when he called out a question.
"I want to tell you im not here to harm you...You see afraid of me when there is no reason to be..You may consider me a hostile life form but i really just want to talk.."
She had no wish to hurt him and that was true. She hopped he would believe her but he would probably run away and then she would follow. She would not let this one escape without finding out who is was and why she felt drawn to him.
"I see you have wings but you seemed ashamed to bear them..Me i have a mask..I fear showing my face to the world..We are one of the same..I know we know nothing about each other but i felt drawn here for a reason.."

Orion shifted uncomfortably at the mention of his wings and once again starting scanning the area.... this time looking for a way to escape. He knew there was always another option. Flying. Something Orion wasn't very good at since he hadn't had usuable wings as a foal, all thanks to his fathers corrupted genes he was sure.
He wanted to curse when he noticed the creature.... a mare.... had moved closer. When had she done that? He shook his head, his voice still shaking. "You are nothing like me. Leave me alone." Orion craved solitude, some claimed that they hated their own company but for Orion it truely was the opposite... plus he was never really alone, he had nature. The clouds that danced above him giving him new pictures and games to watch with each passing moment. The trees that sways in the breeze and spoke in hushed voices. The butterflies that danced around him in a rainbow of colours... yes the world was full of beautiful things. Full of mavellous and wonderful things..... and others were not one of those things in Orion's opinion.
He shifted, freeing his rump from the tree he had walked into earlier. His hooves preparing to bolt for it if his request that she leave him was ignored.

Adalyn could be very patient at times and it looked like today she would need some. She slowly sat down in a way that she was submitting herself to this large stallion she was the prey here. She lay down after that keeping still giving him the option to run if he must but if he did she would silently follow him she wanted to know his story as he seemed very paranoid.
"I submit to your wishes..I will go if i must..We are both scared of those who have hurt us..I can feel that..You expression shows you fear the living..This is only the truth..You may leave if you wish.."
She knew her words would probably make him run but as before she would follow him and if it came to him attacking so be it. She knew he had wings so it was a possibility he would fly away..If that happened she would try to track where he landed even if he flew for miles.
She sat there watching him waiting for him to make a move. She did however observe the nature around her and that made her happy.

Orion remained silent for a long time. Simply watching her... trying to figure out what the hell he was doing.... to describe him it would like be 'mouth open catching flies', but he couldn't seem to stop it.
Behind his blindfold his eyes were open wide, panic stricken. She was giving him the option to leave.... yet her words seemed..... lonely? Part of them called to him just as the other part tugged at him to leave. Conflicted he found himself standing unmoving. Waiting? Watching? He didn't know. Too many things were happening that he wasn't having time to process them all.
He was scared..... but probably not for the reasons she suspected. But he wasn't lonely. No, Orion enjoyed being by himself, enjoying being surrounded by the beauty and simplisty of nature. It was power and strength, everything that Orion wasn't.
Still. After thinking about he turned and left without so much as a second glance at her.
I liked being alone, he reminded himself.

As she sat she saw the stallion was studying her very closely. She could tell he was confused even if she could not see his face his eyes for that mater. She did wonder what the next actions would be and wished she knew how to approach him if it was even possibly. She snorted thinking if she was even doing the right thing trying to talk to an unknown stalion that who knows possibly had powers.
She just wanted to talk to someone that was like her and even if he denied it she knew he was like her. She was very lonely in this world with only her brother and mate for company and she knew someday she was destined to leave her mate..She needed someone she could relate to and talk life to..There hardships there fears..
At least she did notice he was gone without a trace. She sighed and got up shaking her mane off but her mask fell off by mistake and the rest of her hair came falling down. She sighed and picked it up in her jaws not worried if anyone saw her at this point. She went into the trees in pursuit of the stallion hoping he would not attack or ambush her.

Orion walked away.
And then found himself distracted, something that happened a lot to him. It had gotten him into trouble on several occasions and his sister Lior had had to come to his aid. But now.... his attention was drawn to.... a rainbow? It was on the surface of the water, but the sun was gone? How was that possible. He walked towards it, careful not to disturb the sleek surface of the water as he looked at the magic beauty.
He smiled. Feeling comfortable once more now that he was in his own company again.

She decided that for now this stallion was not worth pursuing. He would just keep running away from her and that would go nowhere. She would just hope that in the future they may meet again. She did however follow him to where he had stopped and saw he was staring at a rainbow on water. She felt it best to stay where she was silently slipping her mask back on. She watched him from the cover of the trees debating if she really should just give up. She wanted him to talk to her but he seemed to be in a mood as all animals had moods. She wondered when would be the right time to approach him if ever.

Orion remained oblivious to being watched, simply enjoyed the rainbow. Once his curiousity was sated he turned and continued to walk away, his ears flicking nervously for sounds just as his stomach grumbled..... he was hungry, and just as that thought registered another joined it. He would find his sister Lior and have dinner with her!
Orion smiled and started to run.
((I think this is the end XD maybe we can try again when he is more co-operative?))
