Rules
1) Each combatant starts out with 500 health points
2) Each combatant rolls a 1 100-sided dice
3) If a combatant wins a roll, they receive no damage
4) The difference between the rolls determines the damage to the losing combatant
5) When a combatant’s health points reach 0, they lose

Discord stood waiting in anticipation for his opponent. It felt like ages since they had last dueled. Discord had every intent on making it a memorable experience.

Alnette, who had spent longer than she had intended deciding whether to fight in armor or robes, was in a rush not to keep Discord waiting too long. Of course, just as she reached the designated area, she tripped, but she stood up quickly, brushing herself off as if nothing had happened.

Alnette grinned as she was pushed back. With a flick of her wrist, she threw one of her daggers at him, eager to see if he could block it.

The swift-flying dagger hit Discord's armor. In some ways, his armor was like his skin in this form. The dagger caused his armor to send a jolt of dark energy surging throughout his skeletal frame. It was a minor sensation, however. Discord's jaw lowered, emitting noxious fumes.

Alnette drew her blade and lunged at Discord. However, the noxious vapors were too much for her and she backed away, keeping her distance.

The noxious fumes became thicker. At this point, it would be difficult for a normal human to breath. Discord knew Alnette was reliant; it would not deter her.

Discord did not expect Alnette to overcome his vapors so quickly. Before he could attack, Discord had been knocked back. It took him sometime to regain his balance.

After regaining his balance, Discord drew his accursed Fatum Ferrum. The vile blade parried Alnette's and pushed her back. The necromantic blade pulsed and burst black energy in Alnette's.

Alnette was too impressed by Discord's attack to properly defend against it. As a result, she took the full brunt of the attack.

That attack leeched quite a bit of energy from Discord. He lowered his sword, almost dropping it. He required a moment of rest. The problem is that Alnette would not give him such an opportunity.
