There are many methods to potty train, but which worked the best for you?
- Let them have accidents in their underwear and feel the discomfort. - Regularly take them to the potty to try to go. - Wait until they are ready and asking to use the potty. - Others?
Thoughts/opinions on potty training? What age should children start potty-training or be done potty training?

My daughter was completely potty-trained by the time she was 2. On her first birthday she was trying to poop on the potty. My son is a little slower and is 2 and a half and not very interested in using the potty. I'm not pushing it on him, because I want to wait until he's ready.

Just wanted to let you all know that my son Ashton (2 and a half) went poop on the potty all by himself last night! I was so surprised and proud! He just took off his pull-up and went on the potty! I am just really proud, so I had to post it somewhere! mrgreen

I feel like we have taught something wrong since she goes sit to the pot AFTER the stuff is already in a diaper. ninja
