Jack sat down near the lake. With his father's fishing rod in one hand and bait in the other, Jack put bait on the hook and cast it far into the lake. "Let's hope for a big one." Jack said to himself, "then its party time."

She heard the crack the tree trunk made before she felt the pain from the force of impact.
"Careless, Yumi..." Arum scoffed, having been the assailant who had previously launced the oni into the tree. "This fight won't last long if you-"
She was up in an instant, grabbing the fallen trunk and swinging it at him, not having needed to expend the effort of uprooting the massive behemoth of a plant. It would have crushed him too, had he not gracefully sidestepped at the last moment.
Hands glowing with a dim, green light, he executed his counter attack, roots shooting out from the base of the excised portion of the tree, and from the ground below, ensnaring the girl in their twisting vines.
"You really like this sort of thing, don't you...!?" she taunted, the vines tightening around her, crushing her. She had to escape quickly...
"Watching you helpessly writhe, begging for death?" he darkly chuckled, stepping in front of her and tracing her tanned jawline with his relatively-paler fingers, their green eyes staring into each others'. "Natrually. I'll even grant that request, if you ask nicely, like a good girl..."
"Tch, don't even try that, you perv-!" she grunted, pushing back on the vines, blocking their attempts to constrict her further. "Since when did I-?"
His finger moved up from her chin, pressing onto her lips to shush her. "Look at your position; I'm in control here." He removed his finger from the glossed lips, choosing instead to run his hand through her hair. "Tonight, I'll do what I promised to do. I dare you to stop me."
"It wouldn't be fun if I just gave up, would it?" she smirked, her body suddenly breaking free of her constraints as she tackled him, pinning him to the ground, as she straddled his mid-section.
"A reversal? Not bad..." the half- youkai grunted, trying to break free, to no avail. "Tell me... what would your friends say if they saw this?" A smirk twisted on to his lips as the blood rushed to her face.

"Yumi!" Cali jumped onto her friend from behind. "Arum too!~" Cali noticed him. She had a cheerful voice, not quite knowing what was going on.

Yumi wound up her arm to punch him in the face, her weight redestributing on Arum's abdomen. It was the oppertunity he needed. He rolled, just before she brought her fist down, shaking her off of him, leaving her lying on the ground beside him. Taking the upper hand, he swung his leg over her waist, and pulled his body upright, as he held a knife in one hand, and her arm to the ground in another. He brought the blade down over her chest, but he was impeded from stabbing her, Yumi's free hand grabbing his wrist.
As a result, her uniform shirt, and the bustier she acessorized it with (she discared the jacket earlier), were cut down the middle, leaving the skin of her upper body exposed, save for areas covered by her bra.
He broke his hand free from her deathgrip, and attempted to stab her through the heart once more, knife shallowly piercing the skin, enough to draw blood. Yumi's hand reflexively grabbed his wrist once more.
Though she was likely about to be slaughtered, she couldn't help but notice the way Arum's eyes lingered on her after his last move...
If it didn't look awkward before, it certainly did now.
"...see something you like...?" she taunted, still trying to stop him from plunging the blade through her pounding heart.
"Heh... Possibly," the hunter replied, pressing the point down with more force.
She could vaguely hear Cali's voice.

"Don't do that." Cali plucked the knife from Arums grasp as she was ontop of Yumi. Walking over to the lake she dropped it in.

"...b***h!" he hissed, eyes burning with rage. "I could kill you from sitting right here, and you could do nothing to stop me... I wouldn't even need to lift a finger."
Yumi struggled beneath him, but he merely summoned more vines, subduing her once more. "Arum! This is our battle! Don't you dare drag her into this."
"She entered herself, I don't see a reason why not. I could make it fairly painless, if you objection lies there..."

"Well you could do that but what fun would it be?" Cali's voice changed instantly. She pulled out a sword trinket from her pocket, magically it grew into a real sword. "Yokai hunter, Yumi Ito lets play a game." Now her eyes change color to the light cyan state. "I'll ask a question if you get it wrong I can injure either one of you...Then one of you ask me a question if I get it wrong, feel free to try and kill me." She paced around. "Sounds good?"

Arum stood, stepped aside, and released Yumi beofre saying, "frankly, I don't give a damn about you and your little-"
"Arum, shut up."
He glanced between the two with a gaze of rage. More than anything, he hated being interrupted before a kill. It didn't help matters that he, in additon, detested Cali's more agressive side. "Your rules are too vague; there's no way I'd agree," he reasoned, his mind shifting to a more business-like mentality. He couldn't let emotion take precedence. "Furthermore, despite you being armed, you don't have the upper hand of the situation, so you can't even physically force me into it..."
Yumi was impressed with the sudden shift. "How would you respond to his negotiations, Cali?" She shivered lightly as the cool breeze hit her mostly-unclothed upper body.

"Upper hand? These tree's and plant life of which you are using to attack Yumi, depend on there fresh water source of the lake. If the water was to drain or dry up all plant life would die, am I right?" She walked backwards towards the lake. "Thus if that was to happen you would no longer have full control of the situation. Yumi could possibly survive." Cali wolf pointed out.

"Ahaha... you REALLY don't know the extent of my power, do you...? Tell, me, you're made of flesh, blood, bone... right?" He struggled to contain his laughter.
Despite the chill, Yumi had to admit that laugh sent worse chills down her spine than the breeze....
"Cut it out, Arum..." she pleaded, almost inaudibly. She definitely didn't Cali to die here.

"It would be so easy, too... You see, as long as you're alive, I can attack you. Your cells could propegate like a cancer... or, even, the symbiotic bacteria in your body, keeping you alive, could grow out of control, colonizing beyond their natrual range, consuming you from the inside out..." He sounded as if he were mentally insane.
"Cut... it... out!" Yumi hissed, grabbing him by the collar. "What's gotten into you!?"
"This is what I am. I'm a monster. Niether side can accept me so-"
She slapped him across the face, letting go of his collar in the process.'
"You push yourself away! I never rejected you, I-"
Recovering from stumbling, Arum stepped forward and wrapped an arm around Yumi's bare, tanned. middle before huskily saying, "it's society, love."
That tone definitely didn't make the fact that she was practically half-naked any less awkward. In an attempt to extricate her from the situation, she asked Cali, "sorry for brushing you off. What's the question?"

"So you are going to play" The wolf in Cali's body grined. "Define the word: Joule." She decided to use vocabulary as her current topic.

'That's one's easy...' Yumi thought, wondering if there was some sort of catch. "It's the unit of energy in SI. It's defined as one Newton per meter..."
"In addition, it's symbol is 'J.' Added Arum. Another definition of "joule" is a specific lunar crater on the far side of the moon..."
The only reason he knew that was because one of his fellow youkai hunters had an obsession with the far side of the moon. Needless to say, he was happy when their mission was terminated.
((Aha, I didn't even search for it. I'm such a science nerd. I may be wrong, so check me on that.))

Shortly after Serale took over Leasano's body she headed to the fishing lake. Her broom brushed threw the sky as gently as mist. Serale looked down seeing Leasano's sister and Yumi half naked. Serale lifted her self off the broom stick and threw herself down behind a tree. The broom followed her down as she caught it in her hand. The broom faded away into the darkness of mid night. She spun the black rose in her hand, magic dust formed around Yumi. The magic dust puffed of restoring Yumi’s normal clothes. Soon magic dust also surrounded Caliwolf her eye color faded back to her old one retuning her to her former state. She jumped out in front of everyone landing gracefully on her feet. Looking to Caliwolf she spoke. "Joule...A unit for measuring work or energy...is the definition..." Serale brought her eyes over to Arum raising her hand up a bit. "You know they say it's rude for men to treat ladies like that." She glared at him as Yumi dropped out of his arms. "Nice to finally met you Yumi, Just to let you know I'm Serale Leasano's other half." She smiled to her as she lent out a hand to help her up.
