Contracts and You
If you like coloring pets, but are really bad about keeping to your shop commitments, then boy have I got a deal for you. A contract is a convenient way for you to do some work, take the money, and run! 8D It's far more flexible than real life, and you only have to do as much work as you feel like doing.
Basically, a contract is a one-off job. You complete the contract, Tia pays you, and you go off on your merry way! Or do more contracts. =D
The process works like this:
1. The hopeful colorist fills out an application form!
2. If Tia decides to contract that colorist, she will send them a PM confirming that they still want to do the work.
3. If they do, Tia will then give them a link to the templates and start a trade of the amount specified in the contract.
4. The colorist completes the contract within the given time period and sends their work to Tia!
5. Tia completes the trade!
Of course, there are rules and other information you might want to know:
1. Do not use the templates for any purpose outside of Ricotta's Deli!
2. You can use mice you've colored as samples in other hiring threads or whatever, though, as long as you make it clear that you did not create the lines or the shading. If you want to post them off of Gaia, please include a link back to the shop.
3. Right now, mice colored in contracts will only be used for flatsales or events (small raffles, games) where the total gold received does not exceed the flatsale price. This may change in the future, though. Read the contracts carefully!
4. Derp mice are not the mice you are being contracted to color. You are, however, free to color just as many of them as you want! (As long as you color at least one entire set.)
5. You may do as many contracts as you want, as often as you want.
6. If you don't complete your contract within the alloted time, Tia will cancel the trade and thus, also, the contract! Your chances of landing a contract in the future may be harmed (mitigating circumstances notwithstanding), but nothing else will happen.
7. Tia can cancel any contract at any time, for any reason, as long as she has a reason to do so.
8. Don't complain if you don't get hired! That is very unsportsmanlike.
9. PM all completed pets to Tiarana.
10. You don't have to be active in the shop, but you are strongly encouraged to do so. ;_;
11. The templates are, natively, in Gimp file format. There are also .psd versions available, but I give no guarantee as to compatibility. (Gimp can also save PSP files, so let me know if you need some of those instead.)
12. Please send all of your mice in transparent .png format!
