Only a small area of this route can be utilized without the need of Surf. That doesn't mean it can stop you from taking a look around and getting some items! Or if you have a fishing rod, spend a couple of hours here fishing. You'll want to come back here with the HM though, so keep this place in mind.

-Head north to Sandgem Town, or south (with Surf) to Route 220.
