Sculpting was an art. This is a fact Duje knew well. He poured his heart and soul into what he crafted, working relentlessly until he obtained perfection.

He was working on the hair at the moment. The body was a rough shape, the tail untouched. The face however was further along. The features, the planes of a long nose, the soft rounding of the cheeks, were close to how they'd be in their finished state. The pony statue he was carving was a work of art, or would be when she was done. The hair he was chipping at promised to be long and free, a curl of it already gracing the far cheek from it's main mass.

Morning Star was impressed by what she saw. "Hello?" She figured it would be safe to say hello.

He glanced up, startled, then with the smallest of flush, slid so the statue was between them. He mumbled something that sounded like a hello.

"I'm sorry to interrupt. That is a very nice statue you are making. I'm Morning Star. What's your name?" She smiled and watched him put the statue between them.

"Du...Duje..." he managed to get out. His voice was surprising. Even with his seeming shy and quiet there was a booming expansive quality to it, as if he had a great stage voice... but did not know how to turn it off. It was deep and rich, and the sort of voice some people sweetened theirs to sound like.

She gently touched the statue. "That is an interesting name. Duje." She said it gently. His voice was so manly. She blushed a bit.

"So is this a statue of someone? A girlfriend maybe?" She looked down. She hoped he didn't have one.

"Ju...just a Pygmalion dream..." his booming voice tried to mummer. Some voices, however, just cannot sound quiet.

"A What?! I don't understand that. What's this Pygma lion thing?" She was confused.

Yeah.... he wasn't about to explain that one.... "Never mind," he boomed, still hidden.

"Hmm. Ok." She went around the statue a bit. "Peek a boo!"

He stumbled back away from her, falling on his rump, knocking the base of the statue. It wobbled dangerously. He cried out and lept up, charging into her and knocking her out of the way before the statue could fall on her. The statue hit the ground at the same time they did, but the only thing atop her... was him.
