Well, I'm trying to write a story, but I have really no idea what the topic or genre is about. I written a bunch of stories, of all which I haven't really finished, about fantasy. I'm trying to write a futuristic story, but barely wrote 5 sentences...I need a new genre and topic. Help, anyone?

I need a little more to go off of than that. What do you want to write? Any particular characters or situations in mind? I'll help bounce ideas around with you, but you have to generate something for me to help with first.

How about just a normal girl doing something extraordinary? [genre=fantasy] Or maybe someone turns evil...

I think since you're already having trouble finishing, your best bet is to come up with an idea you're really excited about. I know it's hard when you're stuck for ideas, but I think doing some brainstorming might help get you back into things. Once you have a little more to go on, I think we'll be able to help you refine the idea. smile I just feel that if you care about the idea and invest yourself in it, you'll be more likely to finish writing it!
So, some thoughts that might help:
Retellings can be a good way to get yourself to finish because you have a basic outline to start with. Go read some fairy tales, whether Grimm's, Hans Christian Andersen, Arabian Nights, etc. If there's a story you've always liked, think about how you could give it a new twist. It lets you experiment with a new genre but stick to a more familiar story, e.g. Cinderella in space.
There are also plot generators you can play with online. They're silly, but you never know if one might spark an idea:

Find an idea from anywhere and make sure you write it down. The strangest things will give you ideas. I got an idea from reading through my chemistry text book. Searching for nice pictures could help too. Landscapes or buildings or people. Sometimes an idea will just click. : ) Also here is another generator to go off of: http://nine.frenchboys.net/

Random plot generators!!!
Actually, I never use them. But I always have a story to work on.
So, if you're still having trouble (even after those fantastic suggestions above me) you could always give it a try. I honestly find generators more funny than helpful. Good luck!
