I was in community college for some time.. (My grandma and aunt forced me in, because they didnt want me spending a summer to create a portfolio for art school, this I was there, with no idea as to what i wanted to do with my life becuase I wanted my career art oriented..)
Anywho.. during my second semester there.. my best friend passed away and I shut down, not being able to do the work for my class and eventually flunking it. Then I never went back.
I really liked school, but I think its too late to try again (in terms that I get military help until a certain age and I think im hitting the limit on that)
But I think I should just go straight to career training, preferably, massage therapy. I'm not sure anymore. Think this is a good idea, better than never doing anything, right?

My story is a bit similar in a way. I was forced into college though I didn't want to go because I'm the type of person that needs to have a goal for what I wanna do...I won't go to school just because I think its fun. Without an idea of what I wanna be my motivation lacks and my mom would never take the time to help me study even when I asked...
Anyway, I flunked out of college and worked in a hospital for a year and a half. Now I'm back in college but a community one this time and going for a social science degree with an inkling of what I wanna be. I wouldn't knock down the career training programs because they're cheap and sometimes they'll help you with job assistance. If you're really unsure of what you wanna be and you need a steady income I'd try that first, then try going back to school for a broader degree when you have a bigger drive and more money in your pocket.

I think you should definitely go back. You can do it, don't ever give up. It couldn't hurt, education is always a plus!
