(( Shinseina - Manda
Compass Rose - -_Wish of the Goddess_- ))

Now he had been utterly curious about this place, and wandering seemed to be the only way for the larger Wind Soquili to find out more about his surroundings. Folding purple wings carefully against his large peach body, silvery marking glinting in sunlight. Now this meadow was interesting....good smelling grass....wind.....Shaking out his mane, he enjoyed the wind, wings stretching again. "Rosie....likes this...." He murmured, quietly, closing violet eyes.

Shinseina had wandered away from her family just a bit, wanting to explore on her own. She tended to be rather adventurous at times and never really thought of the consequences. Such as Kalona or Skinwalkers. But luckily the only other thing that she saw in the meadow up ahead was a reeeeeaaallllyyyy big Wind Soquili. Without even pausing, the little filly trotted out from beneath the trees, stretching her own much smaller wings. "Hi!" she called out.

Blinking, the draft-breed looked down at her with those wide eyes, grinning a bit. She was cute! It was a baby too! Made him happy, "Hi hi! Rosie is Rosie, but who is she? She's so tiny!" He exclaimed, looking at her in awe, "Where are her parents?" He really didn't see them anywhere around, which was strange for a baby like her.....Especially a baby like her....

Oh wow, he talked funny! But even she knew that it would be rude to point that out, so Shinseina just tossed her head a bit and looked back over her shoulder. "Not far! Just over there~" she answered, one hoof pawing at the ground a little.

He nodded, seeming content with that answer, "Good good. Because others aren't so nice as the Rosie is. They might try to hurt a little foalie like her. But yes. Rosie is Rosie. What is her name?" He nodded, tail flicking back and forth wings folding slightly again, the large wingspan of them easy to settle for the Wind by now, "She really is an adorable little tiny one!"

The filly actually blushed just a little at his praise and raised her tail a bit higher. "I'm Shinseina," she said simply, eyeing his huge wings with envy. Would -hers- ever grow that big..? Maybe! She hoped so...

He lay down, slightly, so he was closer to her level, his eyes gazing at her, as she watched his wings, "Shinseina....He thinks it fits her. It's pretty! Rosie's real name is Compass Rose, but he likes Rosie." He cooed happily, "He also likes this place. The wind feels nice in his feathers." The elder Soq loved this. It really was nice. He wanted babies!

"This is a nice place," she agreed eagerly, bobbing her head. It was nice of him to lay down so she didn't have to crane her neck up! He really was very big... "And Compass Rose is a nice name," she added, smiling. Personally she did like Rosie better too, though.

He nodded, "It's good for Soquili like us! With wings, he means." He let his own relax, laying them out to catch sun. "So....Does she have a big family?" Rosie had always wanted to know about families, since he really...didn't remember much about his own. It had been so long....

"Oh just my parents and a sister and brother," Shinseina replied easily. She really had no idea if that was considered 'big' or not. Eyeing his wings then, she moved a little closer, almost as if she wanted to touch. "Can you really fly with those? My mommy can fly..."

Smiling brightly, he offered her one dual-toned wing, tail flipping a bit as a bug landed on him. "Yes. Rosie can fly too. Not too well, but he can fly." Nodding eagerly, he waited for her to touch, honestly expecting it. She really was so cute. She would probably love the feeling. Rosie knew it was soft, since the feathers were his, after all.

The little filly stretched her neck out then, nosing at his wing a bit. She -more- than knew not to explore with mouth or teeth ... having been scolded a time or three by her mother. But touching with the nose was okay, she thought. "Yours are so big... I wonder how big mine will be..."

Smiling softly as the filly nosed at his wings, the feathers fluffing softly. Smiling at her, he cooed, "Her wing will be big enough to let you fly! He bets you will be pretty and big, and nice!" Nodding seriously, the boy's wing folded back up again, knowing that sometimes touching as a foal was just really nice.

"You really think so?" Shinseina asked, eyes sparkling. Then suddenly her little ears pricked up. "Oops, I think my daddy's calling me... maybe I'll see you again sometime!" And with that, she was off.
