Events transpired today. I got angry while EV training, and decided to quit pokemon. I gave my copy of Platinum to Sliver and just said "******** it." I sat in class and thought about it a bit and realized I really enjoyed pokemon, so when I got out of class I asked Silver for my copy back. He gave it back and we all went to our homes. I took a long nap and then decided I would get back to EV training, but when I turned on my DS and saw the icon that I would have to select to start up the game I felt like I was staring at a math midterm. I felt tired, and burdened looking at it. I booted up the game and when I went into my save file I felt nothing but utter disgust for the game and I desire to never look at it again. To never battle again, to never EV train again, to never even talk about pokemon ever again. So, Since I feel this way, I'm stepping down as a gym leader.
I'm sorry, but I just can't do it.
