Well, I guess I just thought I'd start a topic to talk about various different Christian fiction. Mostly because I've been really into this book series lately that I grew up reading as a child. It's a christian mystery series, which I've dubbed 'the Mandie books'. They're all about a young girl named Amanda (Or Mandie for short) Shaw, and a bunch of mysteries that she solves. I call them the Mandie series because all of the books in the series start with the words 'Mandie and the'. Like 'Mandie and the Secret Tunnel', 'Mandie and Abandoned Mine', etc. It's a really good series, I think, and even though it's aimed more for teens and pre-teens, I still learn things from it. Mandie is always making mistakes and having to turn to God during her many adventures.

Another good book I read was called 'A Wolf Story'. It was actually pretty good, and I did learn things from it. It's plot line is kind of hard to sum up, however, so I don't think I'll try.

I know I've read more, but I can't think of them at the moment. I guess what I'm really asking is, have any of you read any good Christian Fiction novels? If so, what were they called? I'd love to discuss some of them with ya'll. : )

I am a sinner... "1 John 1:8"

The Left Behind Series was something I really quite enjoyed. As a teen I read the kid series then as a young adult I read the adult version. It was great, I really liked their take on things and it was a fun read, and also filled with drama.

I've read a series called The Lone Star Legacy which was Christian based and it had a lot to do with trusting God. It was from the time in Texas before it became state. 3 books in all that I've read a couple times and will read again most likely.

I used to really like the teen series of the Left Behind books, but after while I lost interest in them, though I'm not sure why, really. I guess maybe my interests just changed?

I've never heard of the Lone Star Legacy, but it sounds interesting. Maybe I'll be able to find it on Amazon or something. : )

I remember when I was younger, I read this one series called the Seven Sleepers, or something like that. Everything in it was paralleled to Christianity, or...something like that. It was actually a really good book, though I never read any of the others in the series. It, too, had to do with trusting God and following his word.

What were the Left Behind books about? Well, maybe what is the main genre?
