story and setting Five Reapers heard a prophecy that there would be a group of humans – humans that were vital to the growth of human life and development. Humans that had very specific abilities. Humans that were the Elements incarnated. The Reapers were told that, on a specific day, all five humans would be put in severe danger, which would lead to their potential death. If the humans were to die, it would lead to the death of what they represented within humanity. There is only one thing that stands between the humans and sure death – the Reapers that were assigned to protect them and keep them from dying.
The day has come, and the Reapers are prepared.
The humans are in a compromising situation. Creatures from the Otherworld, a place that humans typically never learn about, are after them, trying to kill them before they can discover what they represent. The Reapers, luckily, arrive just in time to save the humans and explain the situation to them.
The Otherworld is a realm where dark creatures exist –quite literally. This is a place of Shadows, of the in-between, of the gray area. This is the place where uncertainty mixes with darkness. The only role light plays in this land is to create shadows. And, unfortunately, this is exactly where the Reapers must take the humans to both save their lives and to keep the balance steady between both their realm and Otherworld.
The inhabitants of Otherworld are known as Shadow People, and they walk the realm humans live in, which they refer to as Midearth. The Shadow People are creatures that are silent, always watching, always preparing, and they want nothing more than to take control over Midearth. What stands between them and domination are five humans and five Reapers.
So now the humans are with their assigned Reaper, which represents the death of whatever vital part of humanity they hold within them. Together, they need to find the leader of Otherworld. He’s the man who wants to rule Midearth and Otherworld. Take him out, and the Otherworld will no longer threaten Midearth. This leader, however, has a secret of his own.
His own Reaper.

rules 001 . This is an advanced literate role play. Be able to post at least three strong, well-written paragraphs of information and character development. Try not to post long novels every single post, since that makes the RP go slower and they tend to get difficult to read.
002 . PM all reservations to me with the subject “Left”. If I accept that, PM your profile to me with the subject “Right”. If I accept that, I will post it in the profile thread.
003 . You have 48 hours to complete your profile after I accept your reservation. If you don’t complete it by that time, the reserved spot will be opened, and you will have to send the reservation all over again.

009 . These humans do not control elements. They simply resemble what the elements mean. Keep that in mind. That means that any fights taking place involving the humans will involve humans fighting like humans, not like magical beings.
