Yumi calmly walked into the room, carrying a bassoon case. Noticing the other girl in the room, she asked, "aren't you the girl from the room next to mine...? I'm 115."
Finding a chair, she sat in it, setting down the case.

"Oh, Cali, you brought your guitar? Darn, I should've brought the bass today. Maybe we could've jammed..." Yumi chuckled, smile forming on her face.

"I really don't feel like running back to my dorm..." Yumi looked around, before finding an upright bass. "Aha~! Found you!" She was starting to sound (scarily) like Kat. Not letting the bassoon case out of her sight, she walked over to the rack of upright basses, and, after retrieving it and finding it already tuned (lucky her), she began to comp a twelve bar blues progression.

"Ah, sorry ma'am, but I only do pitch-singing for tuning..." apologized Yumi sheepishly. "My singing's flat. May I interest you in instrumentals?"
Whilst she said this, her fingers continued to dance around the neck of the bass, the original simple twelve bar blues bassline becoming more complex with each repitition.

"Ok Nana - sensei just so you know I'm not as good at guitar as Yumi." Cali begins to play some scales. After she finishes her scales the wolfgirl starts playing G to Em then C to D.

Yumi stopped playing for a moment before commenting, "you know what? If you don't know already, I'm going to teach you to improv today, Cali!" A devilish smirk spread across her face.
Out of her usual trio of students (Cali, Kat, and herself), Yumi was usually the serious one, the straight-woman. This part of the dynamic, however, was thrown out the window as soon as she started playing music.
