Don't push anything, you'll probably lose her as a friend as I know if she's really straight many are at least slightly homophobe and this would probably scare her off.
Just take things slow, go on 'dates' with her (aka just you two go to the movies and the mall ^.^). Be a good friend and if you still really like her, try to bring up the topic of the Bi/Les community to get her feel on it. If she reacts really strongly on the bad side, then sadly I'll have to say it will probably never go past friendship. But you may find that she's curious or something, at which point don't straight out ask her to date you, but maybe ask her if you could kiss her or something?
I'm not really sure, I haven't even kissed a girl yet myself, but that's my advice.

Yeah... if she's straight it's a no go zone.
But are you certain she's straight. Has she told you this outright?
I can never tell.
Dating friends is always a bad idea. But if you really feel something for her, it will be more painful to feel it and never know... than telling her and getting rejected.

I had this same problem before i agree with Twitchums_1 go on "girl dates" where you go to the movies and shopping. Or just have her come over and watch movies at your house. Maybe rent a movie with lesbians in it, not one with a sex scene though that can get awfully awkward >.> a funny comedy show called the big gay sketch show is also a way to kind of jump the bridge of the lgbt community. you can find alot of what im talking about on logoonline.com

Don'tRush Most bad things happen if you budge it in randomly. Possibly talk about a very popular singer or movie star thats lesbian, gay or bisexual. See if she has a bad reaction on it. Ask questions. LOTS. I had the same issue with a lady friend of mine. turns out she's scared to come out of the closet. If all goes bad and something turns out horrible. It's not the end of the world heart if it is ment to be it Will happen. Best of luck Hun!

Sometimes you need a close friendship more than a romantic relationship.

I think you should see what her thoughts on it are, if she is straight and doesn't question that at all you should just stay friends. If she is curious you should see where it leads. But don't rush into anything, because losing her as a friend could be worse than anything.

I don't really have a straight forward answer. Try talking about this with her.
