This book is now being turned into a movie (you can look it up on youtube) and also has a sequel coming in August titled The Power of Six.
It is a story written in first person in the view of a character called John, whose name is actually Number Four.
The story tells of the survival of Nine aliens, and their guardians called Cepans, that escaped from their planet, now destroyed by a race of aliens called the Mogadorians. The Mogadorians wish to kill all nine of them, but because of a charm they can only kill them in the order of their numbers. Number 1, 2 and 3 were killed, and Number Four is next.
I won't spill anything else in fear I may say a spoiler but that's the gist of the blurb. Has anyone read the book? Its rather good.

I just bought that book because a couple weeks ago because it seems right up my alley of fantasy/science fiction novels. I haven't read it yet because I haven't had time (gotta love AP classes in high school) but I can't wait to read it. That is totally awesome that a sequel is coming out over the summer. Can't wait for that one either.
