David O. Russell for best director and no Christopher Nolan? HUH?
He should be the obvious choice for winning.

Here is my opinion on which movies/actors I think will win or "SHOULD" win.
Best Motion Picture: I think the award will go to Black Swan, I don't see Black Swan sweeping, but it was a good enough movie to probably walk out as thee biggest winner of the night. Underdog pick for me would be King's Speech.
Best Actor Leading: A surprise pick to me would be James Franco. I loved Jeff Bridges but don't think he will win another one so quickly. Franco was a surprise in 127 Hours, and I would love to see him win.
Best Actor Supporting: Without a doubt I would love to see Geoffery Rush for Kings Speech take this one. He has always been an amazing and favorite actor of mine.
Best Actress Leading: Natalie Portman surprised me with her wide range of acting. I think she is more than deserving for this one.
Best Actress Supporting: I think Helena Bonham Carter really broke out of her stereotype as the Creepy lady in all those Tim Burton Films and was a great compliment to the rest of the cast.
Best Animated Motion Picture: We all know Toy Story 3 is going to walk away with this one, But I really loved the art style for the Illusionist. a beautifully stylized piece and throw back to 2D animation. I'll be cheering for that dark horse to take it.
Art Direction: I think this one will come down to either Alice in Wonderland or Inception. I have to give the edge to Inception though.
Cinematography: Yet another one I would give to Black Swan, but Inception will give it a run for it's money.
Costume Design: Alice might grab this one as well, but I could see the Tempest stealing it.
Director: It is rare to have a director not win best director while his film wins best motion picture. Daron Aronofsky has tough competition though, mostly in the form of David Fincher for the Social Network.
Film Editing: I wish I could say Black Swan for this film too, but I really loved the editing in 127 Hours, too close to call.
Music Original Score: I would love to see How to Train Your Dragon claim this one, not the best animated film but it did have a wonderful score. However I would have to put my money on Kings Speech.
Music Original Song: I'm actually surprised that Tangled didn't get a nod for best animated motion picture, Now I see the Light was a pretty song, but I'm leaning towards Coming Home
Sound Editing: Inception will most likely sweep the sounds category
Sound Mixing: See above
Visual Effects: I'm still miffed that Tron Legacy and Scott Pilgrim got dissed in this category. Coin toss between Alice and Inception. Good Job Iron Man 2 for at least getting the nomination. <--(Inner Nerd Speaking)
Adapted Screen Play: I didn't care for Social Network, I don't want it to win any awards, but if there is any category I think it will win for sure it's this one.
Original Screen Play: I would love to see Kings Speech win, though the Kids are Alright might snatch this one.
I didn't go over every category, but this is my opinion on which movies I think will win. And in some cases which ones I want to win.

Best Motion Picture: 127 Hours, not on any basis, seems like a good pick.
Best Animated Motion Picture: Toy Story 3 seems obvious, but I think HTTYD is a good contender.
