After agreeing to split up in order to find unique allies, Team #1's Oratu Kanja began looking for Wild Pokemon

Solo Event Rules

1. Start the Event by describing which Pokemon Habitat your character is heading to. Your choices are Urban, Arctic, Tundra, Taiga, or Grassland.

2. Your character will manage to find a Wild Pokemon. If you aren't interested in this specific Pokemon, you may pass up the opportunity and continue looking. In this scenario, you are only allowed to do this up to two times, so if you end up passing up two Wild Pokemon, you will encounter a third, but it will be the last that you encounter in this Event.

After stopping at the pokecenter and picking up refreshments, 2 pokeballs, 1 potion, and using the restroom Oratu was feeling nearly invincible. Like always, he hitched his shoulder bag into a more comfortable position before he took off on his journey to the taiga.

After arriving in the area Oratu was looking all around for any new and ridiculous creatures he may come across, that and for the first time in his life he was a little nervous about being alone. He had gotten used to it at the temple, but he rather liked the company of others, or so he found out rather quickly by becoming alone since befriending new people. Despite having the nerve issues he trudged on and kept his eyes open for anything interesting he may see.

When Oratu reached the pines of the Taiga, he didn't have to look long before stumbling across a Pokemon. The creature that he found looked like a small triangle with stubs for feet. It appeared to be distracted with eating a bit of snow that had collected at the base of one of the large trees in the Taiga, so it didn't notice Oratu at first.

Upon seeing the Snorunt Oratu thought for a few moments before engaging in battle I only really have time for one battle, but I am not sure I could get Ice pokemon very easily after we leave this city. Once the decision was made he loosened up the strap of his shoulder bag to have easier access to his belongings and began fumbling around with the contents inside, he then pulled out a pokeball, pulled his arm back behind him to the right a bit, and hurled the ball at the unsuspecting snorunt. "This one should be no sweat! he announced encouraging the piplup.

Unfortunately for Josh and his Trainer, the Snorunt had the edge in terms of initiative. The Wild Pokemon stared down the tamed Piplup, aiming to scare it away so that it wouldn't even consider attempting to start a battle with it.

Piplup hadn't been physically hit, but you can tell he was startled and somewhat off after a nasty glare that this Snorunt had let out. " Show him how you work your tail feathers! " commanded Oratu. Josh knew exactly what he meant, and began his surprisingly fast waddle towards Snorunt, a short jump and a 180 later Josh was on course to broadside Snorunt with his backside.

12(Pound) - 5(Snorunt's Defense) = 7 Damage Dealt

The attack moderately damages the Snorunt. It is looking weakened but is still standing strong.

The round ends.

The first contact was made, Oratu stood in wait for the response of the Snorunt, curious of its capabilities, and wondering what would happen next. In any case he was confident in the abilities of Josh. "Great execution!" Oratu praised.

The Snorunt was bruised by the Piplup's attack that had been put forth with its backside. It shook with anger and then decided to use its most powerful move. It concentrated cold air into its lungs before creeping behind a pile of snow that had settled at the bottom of the tree. It then blew this snow towards the Piplup, aiming to freeze the small bird solid.

The Snorunt still appears to be okay, but it's obvious that if Piplup connects with an exceptionally hard hit, the Pokemon probably won't last.
