Just discuss the pros and cons of each.

I'll put up videos and info as it becomes available.
3DS

PSP2
Quote:
Sony Corp. this week said it will sell the next-generation Playstation Portable codenamed NGP in holiday 2011.

The NGP will include the dual analog sticks, a 5-inch multi-touch OLED display, 3G & GPS, front and rear touch panels, and a compass on three axes. It will utilize flash-memory game cards.

Hardware specifications include an ARM Cortex A9 4-core CPU, front camera, rear camera, built-in microphone, and Bluetooth 2.1.

Price was not disclosed.

Game titles include Hot Shots Golf, Gravity Daze, Killzone, Reality Fighters, Smart As, Broken, LBP, Little Deviants, WipEout, Resistance, Uncharted.

The system was demonstrated to be as powerful as the Playstation 3, with Capcom Co. displaying cutscenes from Lost Planet 2 rendered in real-time via the NGP.

Additionally, Konami Corp. showcased a real-time cutscene of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots exported directly to the NGP.

Sony demonstrated Uncharted for the NGP which allowed use of the touch screen to jump or to rock the NGP back and forth to gain momentum when Drake is on a vine.

Each game title will have LiveArea UI functionality to allow users to launch the game, download game-specific DLC, send messages, or view the status of other users playing the game.

Another function is Near, a location-based feature to view the most popular game in a particular area and detect what others are playing.

In addition to the NGP, Sony said it will offer the Playstation Suite framework to support game development for various portable devices, including the NGP.

When it comes to making interesting decisions with consoles, Nintendo can't be beat. They defined motion gaming with the Wii, and kept it cheap (compared to Move and Kinect). Then there's the DS touch screen, which I doubt the PSP2 will be able to advance or do anything with. Now, the 3DS is coming out with the only common sense 3D gaming solution...no glasses. And it's adjustable for those who don't want to game in 3D. The 3DS, in my opinion, will be more of a success, as it'll focus on making one or two really awesome features, as opposed to Sony and Microsoft trying to jam their systems with a lot of subpar ones.

3DS

Pro: Technologically ahead of the pack with the 3D system
Con: Will cost about as much as the Wii when it was released, if not more.

PSP2

Pro:
Con:

I really don't know, since I'll more than likely be investing in a 3DS.

If it's at the Wii price, yeah it'll be expensive, but at least it won't be at the PS3 price, which is probably what the PSP2 will be. Plus, it's not like the Wii was insanely expensive either.

And seeing all the classic old games the 3DS is putting out, it will be worth every penny

True, but when it comes to my portable gaming experience, I like having it be cheaper than the console.

I'm usually the same way but I'm making an exception for this because it seems like it's going to be awesome.
