14 offspring of Man and God, will travel to 14 locations, to retrieve Olympia's sacred symbols, from the clutches of Gaia's creations.
Four Ancient Elders of the Earth, whose glory had died along with simple Man: The former holder of the Flame, The 'long fortress' made of stone, and the birthplace of the ancient Games.
Four Structures of the Earth, whose architecture was forged by Man: The former Lair of the Titans, The tower of Love and Fame, The castle of U.K's monarch, and the Bridge unlike its name.
Four Landmarks of the Earth, whose beauty remains untouched by Man: the snake-like river, the garden fit for the Gods, the grape-vined yard, and the vast hills of sand.
The final Two, set in the place no Man can set foot upon, at the Doors of ever-lasting Life, and the Doors of Death. In this section of the quest, you will be retrieving The Big Three's symbol of power: the Helm of Hades, Trident of Poseidon, and the Lightning Bolt of Zeus. You will travel across the world and meet many challenges, many enemies. But you will persevere. That is why you were chosen for this quest. Use the prophecy to guide you along your way. Now, go, demigod, and good luck to you!
*Unless you are Alice Anderson, Liz Seda, or Celina Talorne, you are NOT supposed to post in this thread!*
Crew Member's Message: There will be at least one crew member coming along with you on your quest, to guide you or monitor you to make sure you'll be playing by the rules. If you have any questions, ask that crew member or post your question in the OCC thread.

Liz walked up Half Blood Hill slowly, she couldn't hear anyone else there, so her group wasn't even here yet. Perfect. Liz sat on the ground next to the large tree to wait for the rest of her group.

Alice walked nervously up the hill. She was walking slower then usual, still trying to decided if she should run and hide or actually allow herself to die? The thing was that she now loved her mother and she didn't want her mother to be disappointed and the fact that she was the one to retrieve Hades helm made her proud as well. She was chosen by the very own god or someone out there to do this very task. And really she was sure she would die and be tortured if she ran away now by the very own Hades and he would have full right to do that. It was her fault after all.
Alice finally go to the top and saw a girl she didn't know. That didn't surprise her a bit though. She knew next to no one here anyways. Alice wasn't sure of what to do. Should she approach the girl? Should she just sit down quietly. She she run away? The idea was still in her mind. Alice just did what she always did when she was in a situation where she didn't know what to do, Alice cover her eyes with her bangs so barely anything was visible and stayed still. There. Now she would wait for transportation.

Liz looked up as she heard some one else, hopefully from her group, coming up the side of the Hill. The top of the girl's head appeared first, then her face, which she promptly covered with her bangs, all the way down until her whole body was visible. The girl was very pretty, Liz might even describe her as beautiful, surely she had a boyfriend. The girl looked distressed, somewhat. Maybe her boyfriend dumped her? Not that it was any of Liz's business, but she wondered anyways. The girl whom Liz didn't know stood there, at the tip of the hill, seemingly waiting for something. Well, Liz guessed that it was the best time for her to make her move and socialize.
Standing up from her spot at the base of the tree, Liz took her Ipod earbuds out of her ears and paused the song to be continued later. [Liz generally wasn't a social person, and the music was one of her escapes.] Liz tucked the music device into her pocket and picked up her backpack, slinging it over her shoulder. Standing straight up, for she had bent over to pick up her backpack, Liz smiled at the girl with her face covered by her bangs, walking towards her. "Hey, hows it goin?" she asked, greeting the girl. "Name's Liz, and my dad's Poseidon." she said with confidence. Although this girl wasn't usually social, she knew how to talk with confidence and poise. Liz had never been bullied or picked on in her entire life, mostly because of that fact. People couldn't tell if she was insecure, and Liz would never let them know, so they never had any basis for teasing.
Liz's thoughts drifted, there was only one person left, who was quite tardy. It annoyed the daughter of the sea when people weren't punctual, or they didn't follow rules. Liz could tell that she might not like this person, Celina Talorne, just because she was late. The other girl certainly wasn't making a good first impression on the daughter of Poseidon.

Alice was so nervous that she was biting her lower lip now. She was started as the girl approached her. She titled her head to the side analyzing the girl standing in front of her. She couldn't help that, it was the first thing she did when a person came up to her. Alice would have said that the girl didn't look that bad but really she was the worst judge of character. It was as if whatever she thought she always got it wrong.
Alice looked down at her feet. She didn't know exactly what to say but she had to say something, the girl had come up to her after all. But the girl was the daughter of Poseidon, an even though she didn't believe that their parents wanted them to fight it could still happen. After all that's what demigods did; fight. "I'm Alice Anderson. My mother is Athena." She spoke in a voice so soft that some people had to strain to hear. That was one of the reason she had been picked on so much.

Çέłῐηα Ҝαŧεrîηε Tαłoŕηε: biggrin aughter of Hecate-:: "That's the thing with magic...________________________________________________________________________Walking up the hill, CK realized she was the last to arrive. The other two girls were called to this quest- she was only a substitute for another. That small fact made her question if she was going to be accepted easily into this group, but she hoped so. Finally reaching the other two, she offered a friendly smile. "Hi, I'm Celina Katerine. But just call me CK." She ran her hand through her dirty blonde hair. "I'm a daughter of Hecate." ________________________________________________________________________

Liz smiled at the girl. So, her name was Alice. Liz couldn't help but notice that the first thing that she did when Liz walked up was analyze her. Quite obviously a daughter of Metis or Athena, and that's exactly what she turned out to be. Another girl walked up the hillside, and Liz turned to face her. The tardy girl, whom Liz was told to CK. She smiled, for the girl seemed nice, even though she was a tad bit tardy. Liz did realize that one of her worst qualities was judging people presumptively. Another was that her mood changed frequently, but she had brought a water bottle filled with salt water to attempt to solve that weakness. Hopefully the salt water would help her control her mood swings, which only happened when she was far away from water. "Nice to meet you Alice. I'm Liz." she said, to CK. "Daughter of Poseidon." she smiled again. "Oh!" she said, remembering to warn them about the water. "If you ever need water, and you go looking into my backpack, don't drink the stuff in the yellow metal water bottle." she said, not explaining any more. She did realize that they were probably going to ask her to elaborate, but she'd cross that bridge when she got to it.

Alice smiled at the girl. She was nice... for now. Alice turned when the last group member had arrived. She looked the girl up and down before doing anything. She wasn't sure if she need an intro but it seemed like it was important and the fact that she could now not run away and hide under her bed in her cabin also interfered. Alice nodded at the girls direction, notifying that she knew her presence was now here. "I'm Alice daughter of Athena," she said once again. Did she have to stay on CK's good side? It was a good question with her being her boyfriends sister and all but then again they might have never met before.... but that still wasn't an excuse right? Well she also had to stay on Liz's good side too or she would drown a horrible death. Alice shuffled from foot to foot waiting for any vehicle that would pick them up to die, or at least for Alice to die.

"Alright," she said, wondering what could be in the yellow metal water bottle. "If you ever need anything from me... Just don't go rummaging through the back zipper pocket." In that particular area, she had her bracer blades and a special medication to help control her random outbursts of magic, foresight, or both at the same time. "Nice to meet you both, by the way," she added, addressing both Alice and Liz. "Are you guys..." she trailed off, searching for the right word. "Excited, I guess? And when exactly are we supposed to leave?" CK's patience always ran low, no matter what situation she was in. ________________________________________________________________________

Alice looked between CK and Liz. She felt a surge of jealousy pass through. She hated the fact tat she had almost no magical powers at all or anything people should keep away from. Sure she got visions occasionally when she was fighting and sure she could make stuff but really that wasn't magic that was normal instincts to her. Everybody should have been able to tell what their opponent would do by how they move. All fighters had style and if the hand went up or by their side you know a punch is coming. Making something didn't take magic either it just took an understanding of the materials around you. Alice shook her head when the answer of if she was excited came up. There was no way in hell she was excited.

"Not excited? Why not?" She silently mused for a minute, thinking about what to say. "I'm honestly curious... Is it fear? Or is it just the sheer ridiculousness of going after the big 3 gods? Honestly, I'm not all that excited either. Just kinds of... impatient and ready." ________________________________________________________________________

Alice stared at her. " No I find the idea of the of going on a quest stupid and moronic and completely worthless. Why should I save the world for a bunch of humans that I hate?" she asked looking at CK seriously. Alice's attention was turned towards a van that had a appeared. Great, my ride to death awaits. Alice sighed.
((Im fine with that.))

Liz had sort of drifted off into her own little world. It wasn't abnormal for her to do such a thing, as she was sure that the other girls would soon come to realize. She was shaken from her thoughts by a van arriving. She thought to herself, realizing that she had absent minded-ly memorized the grand prophecy... well, not all of it. Only the parts that pertained to her. The group's part was the 'Four Landmarks of the Earth.' Apollo, the sun, Demeter, the fields, and Poseidon, the ocean. She was pretty sure the grape vineyard thrown in there was Dionysus, which wasn't a part of their three gods. "So, where are we going?" she asked, walking toward the van and opening the back door for the other two girls. "I think that whoever's symbol is at the 'vast hills of sand' is in a desert. Possibly that big one in Africa that I can't exactly remember the name of right now..." she said trailing off, trying to name that desert that covered about one third of the continent of Africa.

"I... that's a good point. BUT... it's morally right to do, don't you think?" She nodded her head in thanks to Liz, who had opened the door to the van. "I think... we should start..." She trailed off, her natural sense of direction momentarily failing her. "Well, if we do start off in the desert... the Sahara desert, by the way, it would be quite a ways off. non of the other destinations are nearer?"
