14 offspring of Man and God,
will travel to 14 locations,
to retrieve Olympia's sacred symbols,
from the clutches of Gaia's creations.
Four Ancient Elders of the Earth,
whose glory had died along with simple Man:
The former holder of the Flame,
The 'long fortress' made of stone,
and the birthplace of the ancient Games.
Four Structures of the Earth,
whose architecture was forged by Man:
The former Lair of the Titans,
The tower of Love and Fame,
The castle of U.K's monarch,
and the Bridge unlike its name.
Four Landmarks of the Earth,
whose beauty remains untouched by Man:
the snake-like river,
the garden fit for the Gods,
the grape-vined yard,
and the vast hills of sand.
The final Two,
set in the place no Man can set foot upon,
at the Doors of ever-lasting Life,
and the Doors of Death.
In this section of the quest, you will be retrieving Hera's, Apollo's, and Demeter's symbol of power: the Diadem, the Lyre, and the Torch. You will travel across the world and meet many challenges, many enemies. But you will persevere. That is why you were chosen for this quest. Use the prophecy to guide you along your way. Now, go, demigod, and good luck to you!

Crew Member's Message: There will be at least one crew member coming along with you on your quest, to guide you or monitor you to make sure you'll be playing by the rules. If you have any questions, ask that crew member or post your question in the OCC thread.

Kayte sat at the top of the hill,watching the bottom of the hill for any movement. So far,she was the only one at the hill ready. Of course,she'd had nothing to begin with. Thaia would most likely share with her. Though they weren't great friends,they could sort of get along.
Thaia ran up the hill,seeing Kayte sitting sullenly at the crest. Kayte had obviously been waiting for a bit. She had nothing with her,since she had nothing. Thaia dropped her pack on the ground next to Kayte and sat down,waiting for Melissa. While waiting,she took out a pack of M &M's and the two ate in silence.

☀ gσd σғ mυsιc Melissa jogged up to the top of the hill, feeling awkward with her backpack slung on her shoulders haphazardly. When she reached the top, she fixed her backpack and smiled at the two girls she immediately saw, and recognized as the two that were also assigned Hera, Apollo and Demeter's symbols. Melissa bent at the hip, flinging her hair over her head so that it would be easier to put up. She slid a hairband off of her wrist and put her hair into a bun at the top of her head. It was no where close to perfect, but it would do for now. It was one of Melissa's looks, she generally had her hair up in this fashion. Realizing that she hadn't introduced herself yet, she said "Hey, I'm Melissa. Daughter of Apollo, so it's kind of obvious why I was put into this group..." she trailed off, realizing that they weren't the child of the other goddesses. For on, Hera was a chaste goddess, and Melissa didn't know that any child of Demeter was at camp during the school year.

Kayte smiled at Thaia and Melissa. "Hello,Melissa. I'm Kayte,daughter of Momos." She picked at her scungy clothes and Thaia rolled her eyes slightly. "I'm Thaia,daughter of Ares." The girls smiled at Melissa. "I find Apollo's kids cool. I still don't know who Momos is. Alright guys,let's figure who's symbol we should find first." Thaia half-smiled. "Who is the most annoying of them all? Apollo is definitely not,I don't think Demeter is. Hera most definitely.I wonder why she picked you and why Demeter picked me."

☀ gσd σғ mυsιc "We should definitely go for Hera's symbol first." she started, "Not to be rude, but I think that she's the most impatient, and after all, she is Queen. I think she should be first." she said to the other girls. She had no idea who Momos was either, probably some Minor god that she hadn't yet learned about at camp. He probably doesn't have very many children either, not that it mattered.

Kayte and Thaia nodded. "Hera is impatient. Very impatient. She'd throw a fit if we didn't find her diadem soon. I wouldn't want to see that scene." The two held up their hands in defeat. It was easy enough to decide. Hera was a lot more worrisome than Apollo or Demeter.

Not that she wanted to be leader, but ... she lost her train of thought... "Okay, since we're going for Hera, where do you think that her symbol is at?" she asked, because though she knew the prophecy, she had no idea where the diadem was at....

Thaia was silent,processing what the prophecy meant. However,Kayte was right on it. "Hera is the queen of the gods. I'm thinking her symbol would either be at the 'Doors of ever-lasting life','Doors of death',or the 'long fortress made of stone'." Kayte looked at the other two. Thaia was silent,still processing it.
