vegeta's breathing beccame ragged and labored as his insane father continued to pound him into the plateau. The KIng howled in delight, licking his sons blood off of his hands.

"Hey! I can feel Vegeta's power getting weaker! We have to do something!", Goku yelled to Bardock.
"Damn.....he's getting weak. But what can we do? i can barely make an Ascended Saiyan......"
"Distract him.......dad. i have a plan."
"wha- ok........"
Bardock began to power up, his strength almost on par with the basic ape king. suddenly his muscle mass increased, slightly and a shower of sparks enveloped him.
"Wow......i've never felt this type of power........I like it."
"Super Saiyain 2? Wow this is a major improvement"
Goku looked at his tattered gi and tore it off, he closed his eyes and began to raise his power.
"Stand back......i can't control the energy output just yet and i don't want you to get hurt.", goku said.
"You cant do anything that i haven't seen already........."
"ok i warned you....."
Goku began to glow and suddenly there was a flash and bardock had to sheild his eyes. when the light disappearede there stood goku, in his omnipotent super saiyain 3 form.
"Go......save vegeta.......i want to fight the king myself......oh, give hime one of these......take one your self......"goku said handing bardock the bag of forgotten sensu beans.bardock nodded and flew towards the kings tail while goku glided towards the king snout.
the king stopped hitting vegeta and looked at his new foe.
"POWER.......KILL....." the king thundered.
"try me........" goku said menacingly.
the king swung at goku, but goku easily blocked it and clubbed the king on his forhead. the king forgot about his son and released him from his tail. bardock snagged the wounded prince and forced a bean down his throat. vegeta regained conciousness, and immediately began asking questions.
"what happened to my father? Why did he lose control? Why-"
SMACK! bardock slapped him across the cheek.
"Shut the hell up and look.......the only one who can stop your father is my son. not unless that magic bean does more than heal wounds........."
Bardock ate a bean and felt his already incredible new strength rise.
"Wow. they are good........"

Goku and the beast continued to brawl, shaking the planet around them.
goku was clearly dominating the fight but the ape was not intent on retiring. it was truly a life or death fight between two sayains in their prime.
"KA-ME-HA-ME-...........", goku began to charge his signature beam, as the king rushed towards him. but before goku could release it Vegeta, fully renewed kick his father square in the good eye.
"NO Kakarrot.......we'll do this together then."
goku nodded and vegeta powered up to ssj2. the saiyain king sat up, confused and very pissed.
"HEY! i want in too!"
bardock suddenly appeared beside his son."better yet i'll start it!"
Bardock rush the still fallen king and barraged him with punches and kicks that the seemingly invincible ape took notice to.
"suddenly the king batted bardock out of the way any continued towards
goku.
"UH-OH! Vegeta he's headed this way get ready!"
Vegeta nodded and he and goku rushed the king and a fierce melee erupted. when the smoke cleared, Vegeta was holding his shoulder obviously wounded and goku was breathing hard and wiping his nose.
"Wow we have to end this before he ends us.........."
