I'm looking to change my team around a little.
Currently, this is my team: Gastrodon Lv 82 [Keeping, she's awesome.] Lucario Lv 74 [Keeping, he also kicks a**, dat Aura Sphere.] Flygon Lv 58 [Definitely keeping, his attack power amazes me.] Torterra Lv 66 [Looking to swap her for another grass type] Ninjask Lv 57 [Just using her for False Swipe, looking for something else with higher physical attack that learns this.] Glaceon Lv 58 [I only really use her for contests, waiting for a Beldum swarm.]
I'm thinking of making this my team: Gastrodon Lucario Flygon Cacnea [Eventually Cacturne] Sneasel [Eventually Weavile] Beldum [Eventually Metang, then Metagross]
Looking for some suggestions for my team, I can give my movesets and other information if you want~

♥ | Just to point out on what you're thinking of changing your team to:
HUGE Fire weakness. Four out of six of the pokémon on your team will be weak to Fire. Flygon a Gastrodon might be able to cover for you, but I'd still be careful.
Second, Fighting types. Three of the pokémon are weak to Fighting type moves, most of which are the same pokémon weak to Fire types. Your only real counter for this is Beldum / Metagross. In which case, you might have trouble with an Infernape or something...
As far as pokémon that learn False Swipe go, you might want to try Gallade over Weavile. It's a bit of a loss in base Speed, but it would probably round out your team more by removing both a Fire and a Fighting weakness and adding another Fighting counter (one not weak to Fire this time).
That's about the best suggestion I can make. o_o | ♥

♥ | The PokéAthlon Dome shop should carry a Dawn Stone everyday except Wednesdays and Sundays for 3000 Pts. | ♥

Platinum doesn't have the Pokeathlon, does it? I haven't seen it anywhere if it does. >.>
I might get my friend to trade me one from his SoulSilver.

♥ | Oh, darn. I forgot we were talking about Platinum. xd *dumbdumb*
According to bulbapedia, there should be one on Route 212, Route 225, and Mt. Coronet. You can also get it from Pickup. | ♥

I'll check those out then~ Oh, I'm kinda lacking in offense against flying types too, that was another reason for me using Sneasel. My Gastrodon knows ice beam and I might be able to teach some others ice/electric attacks, but I don't know.

♥ | You could lose Cacturne and keep Weavile. ^^ Or you could get an Electric type. Luxray has a high base Attack and a good base Sp. Atk if you want to keep a physical and special attacker. | ♥

I have Weavile and Gallade in my team now, just waiting for Beldum to swarm. I also need one more blue shard to teach Weavile Ice punch, seeing as it doesn't learn any decent physical ice moves.
