โˆ Here is Northstar Playground. It is to the right of Northstar Park. The playground is exactly as it sounds. It is completed with swings, slides, monkey bars; everything that makes a child happy and can bring the child out of older people. Benches line the side of the playground and a fence is found surrounding the area to keep young children inside. There are bathrooms and water fountains.

ๅฝกThe gate to the playground was locked. Havoc sighed softly, a puff of white smoke escaped from his mouth as he set a hand on the fence and jumped over it. The snow lay untouched under him. He walked over to the swings and dusted one off before sitting down. It was quiet, no one else was in the playground at the moment. It was too cold for children to come play. Havoc heard cars and the lake flowing not too far from where he was. He took the time to just think. There was no one around to distract him or bother him. Leaning his head against the chain that held the swing up on the left side, his head bent and his eyes closed. Cold winter breezes made his clothing and hair flutter in the wind. ๅฝก

Running along the sidewalks, a pair of green boots carried a green haired girl along through the chilly weather easily. This was a new place to stay and Frelia wanted to see everything. She had spent her time unpacking in her room and hurried out the moment she had the chanceโ€”which amounted to roughly five minutes of unpacking. She could always do it later before going to bed or something. Frelia was more interested in getting out and seeing the city and finding new places to hang out. Parks and such were perfect places, especially in the spring so thatโ€™s what she was more-or-less focused on finding.

As luck would have it, she came across the playground but the gates were closed. Who closed the gates to a park? That was ridiculous! Parks should be open at all times of the day regardless of the weather or time! Frelia puffed her cheeks as she glared at the gates, like they had done something to wrong her almost. Though after a few moments of having a staring contest with the fence, Frelia easily floated over it and landed on the other side. The area appeared deserted since there were no other footprints in the snow.

A soft tune escaped her lips as she began to walk throughout the park, looking it over. It would look absolutely splendid in the spring! Frelia was so excited and could hardly wait to see the place in full bloom and hear people out enjoying everything. โ€œHuh?โ€ Frelia came to a stop as something caught her attention. Someone else was here, that was kind of amazing. There had been no sign of others being hereโ€ฆ Curiously Frelia moved on over towards the swings, stopping a little ways away, head tilting a bit. โ€œHello there.โ€ she said softly.

ๅฝกHavoc did not expect anyone else to bother coming around here- especially at during this weather. To most people, it was freezing. He didn't feel cold. His eyes opened at the sound of someone speaking- to him? It was a female voice, someone had to be speaking to him. No one else was around. What a foolish person. Most people tried to avoid him and for a good cause. His aura was dark and myserious. His very gaze usually scared people stiff. He looked at the girl dressed in green. Even her hair was green, queer but he had seen so many weird things in his day, this wasn't that big of a deal. Frelia stood a good distance away from the swings. Havoc doubled over, setting his elbows on his knees. His emotionless and dark gaze locked on her. "Hello." he replied simply. His voice husky and calm.

Didn't she have anything better to do rather than bother him? She seemed so excited. About what? There was nothing to be excited about. The academy's classes would probably be open soon. Knowing his mother, she would let the children have a few days to relax and get settled in before jumping into work. She should have known, he wouldn't attend most of his classes. She probably did know that. It wasn't like he tried to hide it. Reaching into the pocket of his jacket, Havoc pulled out a cigarette and a lighter. Upon lighting his cigarette, he put it to his mouth and slid the lighter back into his pocket.

He breathed smoke out from his nose, "Can I help you?" he questioned, his voice still calm and cruel. He managed to speak clearly despite the cancer stick in his mouth. To say that he didn't like people was an understatement really. He didn't like most people and so far, he had yet to find anyone around here with his time. ๅฝก

Frelia kept her head cocked to the side as she watched the redhead on the swings. It was curious to find him sitting here all alone. Or at least, she found it curious. Maybe he just wasnโ€™t as social as others or maybe he was out to get fresh air? Why else would he be out in the snow all alone? He certainly didn't appear to be out here enjoying the peaceful atmosphere that the snow provided. That was a shame since it was quite nice here. The snow covered everything like a pristine blanket. It was kind of tranquil and...
She blinked as he spoke and looked up at her. His eyes are a tad frightening. though that didnโ€™t really put her off much as she smiled.

โ€œHi,โ€ she repeated. โ€œIโ€™m just out looking around, thatโ€™s all. Parks are nice places even during the winter, donโ€™t you think? Oh!โ€ she tapped herself in the head lightly as she stuck out her tongue a tiny bit for a brief moment. โ€œSilly me, I never introduced myself. Iโ€™m Frelia! I just moved here with my brother.โ€ she moved closer and held her hand out to the maleโ€”she believed handshaking was the proper way to introduce oneself right? I think thatโ€™s what Kite saidโ€ฆ

ๅฝกJared's eyes watched Frelia closely. Trying hard to send a silent message that she was trying to converse with the wrong man. If she wanted to sit around and be quiet, he wouldn't have cared. But instead she was sitting around talking to him, a complete mistake. Frelia was so cheery, it was annoying. He sighed and ran a hand through his red and black hair before sliding his hand down to cover the right side of his face. "If you say so." he muttered, not really caring about how beautiful the snow made things appear. Memories haunted him, he only remembered the crimson red on pristine white snow. Not a good memory and his mind tortured him by making him remember it every winter.

The girl just didn't seem to get the hint that he wasn't interested in meaningless chit chat as she introduced herself and moved closer- holding her hand out to him for a hand shake. "Call me Havoc." he muttered calmly. His aquamarine eyes shifted down to look at her hand outstretched to him but didn't make any movements showing that he planned to take it. He shifted the cigarette to the left side of his mouth as he moved his hand away from his face, gripping the cold metal chain that held the swing up. She was trying so hard to be nice to him, he had to force himself not to laugh out loud. Girls were really clueless.

"A pleasure." he replied though he didn't sound enthused or like he really meant it. ๅฝก

โ€œOhโ€ฆโ€ Freliaโ€™s hand lowered slowly when the other didnโ€™t make so much as a move to return the gesture. Well, that was okay! Maybe he just didnโ€™t like handshaking, which was perfectly fine. Rather Frelia tucked her arms behind her back as she continued to smile. This guy seemed quite hostile and kinda like a bully but deep down she liked to believe everyone was good. โ€œHavoc? Thatโ€™s quite an interesting name.โ€ she said as she looked around and moved to the swing next to the one Havoc was perched on, hand resting lightly on the chain.

โ€œMay I sit with you? Iโ€™ll be quietโ€”promise!โ€ she would have said โ€œscouts honorโ€ like she had heard Kite say but she had never been a scout so that would be lyingโ€ฆsorta. But sitting quietly with this guy in the park didnโ€™t seem like such a bad idea. It made enjoying the scenery easier and, well, with the looks Havoc kept shooting at herโ€ฆFrelia supposed she should shut her mouth. He wasnโ€™t being a chatterbox and talking to herself was just silly though effective if no one else was around to speak to. Her only other option was to leave and quite frankly she was bent on not leaving, even if Havoc didn't want to play nice or be friends. Why? Frelia wasn't sure. She'd have to think more on that later.

ๅฝกAt least she seemed to get the hint that he wasn't into handshaking much. Yet, she continued to smile like everything was perfectly fine. "Nickname." he corrected. But did not give out his real name. She would probably figure that out on her own eventually. Since it also appeared that she would be attending Northstar Academy, she might find out soon. Was it an interesting name, sure. Why did he obtain such a nickname, easy. He literally brought chaos and reaked havoc where ever he went. A few of his 'friends' came up with the nickname. One of his sisters had a habit of calling him 'Mayhem'. The nicknames fit him and they fit well. Havoc's gaze followed Frelia as she moved to the swing beside him and sat down, a hand on the chain. "It's a free country." he replied with a light shrug. She didn't seem like the type capable of being quiet though. So he prepared himself for more meaningless chatter.

Why she wanted to sit in a park alone with him made him slightly wonder about her sanity for a split second. He never talked much, no matter who he was speaking with. It was a miracle to get more then a sentence out of him. He liked to keep things short and simple. Why did he act the way he did? Well, that was going to remain in the shadows. He just wasn't interested in friends and being kind was just a waste of his time. "What are you doing out here by yourself anyway, kid?" he questioned. Everyone was probably wandering around on their own, trying to become familiar with their new life and home. But someone like Frelia, she seemed like she could easily get herself into a little bit of trouble- not that he cared. Taking the cigarette from his mouth to blow out a puff of smoke into the chilly air. The smoke quickly disappeared and he placed the cancer stick back to his mouth. ๅฝก

โ€œOh, sorry. Nickname.โ€ Frelia said, also correcting herself after the other had done so. โ€œStill very interesting.โ€ she settled on the swing next to Havoc after dusting it off. She stretched her legs out; toes pointed up as she laced her fingers together and let her hands rest between her legs. She could be quiet when she really put her mind to it! She just usually never did because she never saw a reason to do so. Though she told Havoc she would be quiet and thatโ€™s what she was going to try to do. I wonder if weโ€™ll be getting more snow? she wondered as she looked up at the sky. It looked almost like it wanted to but that could have also just been the winter weather.

โ€œโ€ฆ?โ€ her golden-yellow eyes blinked a bit. Did he just ask her a question? And here she was trying to be quiet for him! Frelia gave a little shrug of her shoulders as she wiggled her booted feet. โ€œWellโ€ฆโ€ she said easily, glancing over at him. โ€œIโ€™m gonna have to talk if Iโ€™m going to answer your question.โ€ she teased lightly before flashing Havoc another bright smile. โ€œBut Iโ€™m just out looking around. My brother is busy unpacking and will probably settle to read when heโ€™s done. I like reading but I didnโ€™t want to hang around and do that soโ€ฆhere I am~!โ€ she grasped the chains of the swing on either side of her. โ€œItโ€™s a lot nicer going out and seeing the world rather than reading about it in books all the time. Besides, if I had stayed inside I wouldnโ€™t have met you.โ€ Frelia commented semi-thoughtfully. Anyone could probably tell she wasnโ€™t the sharpest tack in the box, but Frelia enjoyed meeting other people even if they didnโ€™t feel the same.

Havoc was probably one of those people who didn't feel the same. Frelia was pretty positive about that.

ๅฝกInteresting? Not exactly. He thought to himself. Almost as though to answer her question, small white flakes began to slowly fall from the sky. A light flurry. God he hated winter. They already had inches of snow on the ground and Mother- freaking- Nature wanted to add more? For what? A blizzard might as well come along. This wasn't freaking Alaska the last time he had checked. He had telepathy and could read the minds of others and communicate through the mind as well if he wished to. He heard Frelia's thought loud and clear as if she had asked it outloud. An invasion of privacy? Many people called it that but it wasn't something he could just shut off. Besides, he would rather know what everyone was thinking. His cold gaze shifted over to Frelia as she gave another bright smile. It wasn't healthy to be that happy. . . Reading? Sounded a lot like Nyla and Alice. It was rare to ever find him near a book. He removed the cigarette from his mouth and flicked it into a small pile of snow. His attention returned to Frelia at her comment? If she had stayed inside, she wouldn't have met him? Havoc chuckled low in his throat. She made it sound like it was a good thing that she stumbled upon him. She couldn't be serious.

By her personality, he should have known, she was probably a very positive person no matter what happened. "You make that sound like a good thing. Meeting me is probably more like a curse than anything else." he snorted, a cloud escaping from his nostrils. He stood out against the white, his clothing dark black and his hair a dark red and black. His eyes almost matched the snow, they were such a light aquamarine, they could pass as white. Yet they were always tense and cold, more cold than the winter days themselves. Havoc stretched his long legs out in front of him, they didn't mess the snow up at all. The snow didn't crumble under his weight or grab onto his boots. He folded his arms over his chest, his light black leather jacket was completely open despite the chilly air. All he wore under that was a V- neck black shirt. It revealed the tattoos he had under his neck and on his chest. He could still hear the lake not too far away, it was a wonder that it didn't freeze yet. ๅฝก

Maria took a step outside of the Academy doors into the icebox of a park. She pulled on her heavy coat before setting her dainty foot onto the beaming white snow. The crunch of it put a soft smile onto her lips. She looked out before going any further, because she had to know where she wanted to go before going. There in front of her stood a tall wooden gate, and it was closed.Now who would close a gate to a park? she questioned herself. She just shrugged and grew out her small little angel wings. Even though they were small, they were so bright and radiant, it could blind you.
She flew over the prickly gate with no problem, and immediatly changed back into human form when she had passed that obstacle. Tucking her hair behind her ear, she took some more steps toward the center of the playground. She looked right at the swings and to her suprise she saw two people, a boy and a girl, sitting on them talking. She started to approach them looking for a conversation. When she finally saw every detail about them, the girl had green everything. Green shoes, green outfit, and even green hair. The boy had a gorgeous color of eyes in her opinion, as they stood out from the rest of him. His red hair and dark clothing didn't give him the sweet impression his eye color did though did. That, and his annoyed facial expression.
As she came even closer to them, she pulled out her dorm info card and gave it one last stern look. It said that her roommate was a girl named Frelia. She had finally put the puzzle together. For when she had walked into her dorm room to move in all her stuff, one side of the dorm was already smuthered in green. She giggled quietly before asking her,"Hello. I'm Maria. Are you Frelia? I think I'm your roommate. She gave one more look to the boy, and this time it was an innocent one. As if that look could turn him into a sweet goody-goody. That would never happen. The snowflakes falling landed on her eyelashes, making her blink and smile even more.

Frelia lifted her head once more as something passed her eyes. It was little white snowflakes! Almost instantly she perked up and sat straighter on the swing set, hand extending to catch a few that floated down. That seemed to answer that and she was rather thrilled with the results. Spring was her favorite season but she liked playing in the snow. It was also interesting to see the world dressed in white. Pretty. she blew the flakes from her hand and grasped the chains again, attention going back to Havoc. Is he always grumpy? she wondered. Frelia knew her attitude could be annoying but she preferred being happy and perky to grumpy and quite a sourpuss. Being mean and grumpy seemed like too much work for her tastes. Being happy was a lot nicer.

โ€œBut it is a good thing.โ€ Frelia protested. โ€œMeeting people is nice, even if theyโ€™re the complete opposite of you!โ€ Which wasnโ€™t hard to see that Havoc was the polar opposite. He even dressed darker than her, which seemed to match his dark attitude perfectly. โ€œThe world takes all kinds of people and meeting them is never a curse.โ€ she said with a curt nod. โ€œSo of course Iโ€™m glad I met you! I wouldnโ€™t lie about something like that.โ€

Frelia blinked as she heard another voice and a mention of her name. โ€œHuh? Oh, yes.โ€ she looked at the other female who had come to the park as well. โ€œIโ€™m Frelia. Nice to meet you!โ€ she chirped. โ€œAnd this is my new friend, Havoc!โ€ she said, waving a hand over to the red and black haired male next to her.



I will happily tie your feelings and the feelings of this world to me,

ๅฝกHe had not noticed Frelia when she had first appeared around the playground. But now the prescence of an angel hung thick in the air. A species he hated with a passion. His eyes darkened more, clouding over completely. He gripped a chain of the swing tightly. His nostrils flared as the angel came into view. A female. He listened to her introduce herself to Frelia. As she looked at him with an innocent gaze, he forced himself to refrain from scowling. It was Frelia's voice that caught his attention again. His angry gaze shifted slightly but still watched Maria closely. He decided not to rain on her parade, why bother telling her that she was wrong about that. Not all people in the world were good, he fit under that catagory well. He listened to her introduce herself- and him to the angel. This time there was no hiding the anger that flickered through his eyes. His lips and jaw set in a hard unhappy line.

Again, he decided not to correct Frelia. 'Friend' wasn't the title worth giving someone like him. But whatever, he wanted to get out of here and fast. Standing up, he turned away from them, walking towards the fence on the other side of the playground. "It's about time I take my leave." he muttered. Upon reaching the gate, he set a hand on the cold metal and jumped over it. Reaching the other side, he stuffed his hands into his pockets and walked away slightly. Not relaxing until he was away from the angel. He kept walking, never stopping to look back or debate where he was going to go next. Havoc decided to just wander around, let his feet take him where they may. ๅฝก

A chill shot up Freliaโ€™s spine after a moment and she looked over at Havoc. He appeared far more tense and grumpyโ€ฆno, not grumpy. Angry. He was angry, but why? Did I do something? though it looked as though his attention was more-or-less on the new girl. Something wasnโ€™t right here and before she could actually ask about it, Havoc got up and said a few parting words before deciding he was going to head off. โ€œOhโ€ฆokay.โ€ Frelia nodded faintly. It wasnโ€™t like she could stop him or anything. โ€œOh!โ€ She hopped up and landed lightly on the swing, holding herself in place by grasping the chains. โ€œCatch you later Havoc!โ€ she called cheerily waving one hand childishly in the air while brushing off the bad feeling from only moments ago.

Once Havoc had left her sight she looked to Maria again. So this girl was her roommate? She appeared rather quite nice. Maybe a bit on the quiet side which was okay too. Frelia wasnโ€™t here to judge or anything. โ€œHavoc is kinda a grumpy Gus.โ€ she explained with a giggle. โ€œSo, your name is Maria? What a pretty name!โ€ Frelia chattered as she began to rock on the swing to get it moving a bit. โ€œDid you get everything moved in okay? โ€˜cause I can help you when we get back if you havenโ€™t!โ€ Her golden-yellow eyes trailed over the park. Still no footprints when Havoc left, how baffling. Though now that she thought about it, it was getting a little nippy out here. Perhaps her and Maria could go on an adventure and find more places to see. If Maria was willing.
