xxxxx “Well, most don’t believe me when I tell this story but…
The honest truth is that I come from an extremely wealthy family. Not just your every day entrepreneur wealth either, old money wealth. The kind that you couldn’t spend if you tried. Unfortunately I did not ask to be put in such a family… For the expectations are far beyond what I hope to achieve. You see as a child I was supposed to exceed academically, physically, and have the cookie cutter response to what I want to be when I grow up. School came naturally to me, so in that aspect I could slack off and still pass with flying colors. As for sports, well I always loved running, so track was more of an escape and a great place to find peace of mind. Though when it came to that certain child’s essay question, well you can imagine the surprise on their faces when I simply stated ‘I want to write.’ In a single instant it no longer mattered that I seemed to fulfill every requirement as far as grades and athletics were concerned, but that I had zero drive to be a ‘successful member of society’. My Father would have locked me in the basement’s black abyss if he could, regardless of my only being seven years of age. Though luckily for me, rich parents hardly have time for their kids… note the irony please. So while they detested my affinity for the creative arts, I was free to practice my writing in peace. Even though I call it peace, I suppose it was more of a hell… I guess a child like me shouldn’t complain, having money makes certain things easier, but it’s because of that money that I’ve never really had any friends. You see my Father believes that most people try to use you if you have money, so I was never allowed to play with the other children. However there was one kid I made friends with; Tyler Rain. He shared my love for running, and surprisingly was one of the few who could keep pace with me haha. Though… well he was sick. Deathly so. He contracted Leukemia around the age of 16... And well he, he didn’t survive. So again, I was left alone, one child in one mansion. Though I suppose I can count myself fortunate enough to have had my new best companion Lucky T. Shadow, only a puppy at the time heh. The little guy would curl up in my hands and fall asleep, never giving a care that I couldn’t do anything but hold him. Sadly however, when my Father finally returned from one of his business trips, I was able to give him a comprehensible collection of my works… It was one of the few times I’ve seen him in awe. He was actually proud that I went against his wishes, and that I had a passion of my own. So as a conclusion to the story, I was allowed to choose a place of my own living upon my eighteenth birthday, I hoped to settle down in a somewhat secluded area that still had plenty of people… I don’t care for being alone too much, yet oddly enough I need to be some what out of contact with people and more immersed in nature in order to write. Though I suppose this has dragged on long enough, I’m here now, and my dog really needs me to spend some time with him, so please excuse me for a moment heh.”
