Like every military, the UN’s international forces have different ranks that describe the superiority to another person. Unlike a normal military, though, the UN made a universal set of ranks for every continent of the military to use. Below are the beginning ranks. They are the soldiers who are usually the new people who want to join the fight. They are treated with the utmost least respect. All of the people in the soldier division, even if it doesn’t say, can be sent out on the battlefield to fight at anytime. They are listed in order, starting with the lowest rank and moving to the highest. Only specific ranks will be promoted after a certain number of posts have been made.
Private – The only class to not have an insignia. These are the beginning soldiers. They are usually used first in battle, and have the least training. After 30 posts, a Private can be promoted.
Private First Class – A basic soldier. They are given slightly more respect because they are not as new as the Privates. They are automatically promoted after 60 posts total have been made.
Corporal – Another basic soldier. At this point, they are able to receive training from an officer or higher ranks soldier at their mentor’s request. Corporals are promoted at a total of 125 posts.
Sergeant – Sergeants are able to lead teams of four people with different special skills. A Sergeants team is sent out on missions coordinated by the Sergeant Major, and are usually used to destroy a low-medium ranked monster or demon. This rank and all ranks to come must be promoted by a person two ranks higher than themselves.
Master Sergeant – The overseers of the Sergeant’s team’s missions. They are usually the one’s who tell the sergeants what to do before they leave for their missions. Master Sergeants are expected to make the sergeants jobs flow more smoothly by sending representatives and other soldiers to give reports.
Sergeant Major – The Sergeant Majors are in charge of creating strategies for smaller based attacks on organizations of monsters or demons. They are usually good with logic and mechanics. If a Sergeant Major is good with technology, they can be directly promoted to a Warrant Officer.
Command Sergeant Major – The commanders of all soldiers. They usually make sure that all order is kept within their districts. They are assistants to all officers, but mainly Warrant Officers. When a Command Sergeant Major is promoted, a new one must be chosen to take their place.
The next group of military personnel is referred to as the officers. They are promoted in the same was as Sergeants and all the above rankings. Officers usually operate larger scale attacks, and a better with weapons, machines, and other forms of technology. They are ordered in the same way as the last.
Warrant Officers – The technical experts of the military. They can operate most types of machinery and are in good physical condition. This rank is the best rounded in skill.
Lieutenants – Lieutenants have equal or more skills than Warrant Officers. They are able to lead platoons with 24-48 Warrant Officers or soldiers. Lieutenants are also expected to do the duties of Command Sergeant Majors when needed as well.
Captains – Captains are in charge of supervising (and sometimes assisting) up to 12 lieutenants at a time. Captains are to make sure that all of the Lieutenants major missions go smoothly, or it may cost them their rank.
Major – Majors are in charge of assisting Captains in their duties, and leading at least 10 Captains in their jobs. Majors also manage small, individual teams for gathering information or creating logistical operations.
Lieutenant Colonel – The overseers of all large events in their vicinities. Lieutenant Colonels are usually only needed in emergencies, so they are usually on patrol. They are the first to be sent as representatives to help the missions the Majors have. Majors are their assistants.
Colonel – Lead large groups of beginning soldiers into battle. They usually put the Majors plans into action in large battles by using the beginning soldiers. It is not the Colonel’s job to oversee the lives of their subordinates, but to achieve the goal set in front of them. When not on the battlefield, they oversee the Lieutenant Colonels.
Lieutenant General – The basic assistants to the Generals. They are usually very stealthy and lethal in attacks. They are in charge of informing the Colonels.
General – The commanders of the entire continents military. They can command anything from a Private to a Lieutenant General. These six people are in almost complete control.
The rank in the military is the General of the UN. This person has the power to single handedly destroy the world with one command. They are in control of every soldier, officer, and law made in the world. Because of the insane power this person could have, there is currently no General of the UN, but one could be elected if needed.
