It was a day to remember. Kitsune followed her son along with Kekoa to the spot where they were going to be meeting with a special fox to the grandson. " Who might this fox be, Kekoa? I'm hoping they are as wonderful as you say they are." Spoke the grandmother she looked around at all the trees and plant life that had been growing around her. There was a small flower garden up a head where they were to wait for the other foxes to show.
"Do you trust me, Grandma Kitsune?" Kekoa asked as he sat down next to the small flower patch. His tail swished lightly as he smiled, waiting for his friend. "I don't see the point bring both of us out to a place like this, son." Katsuo said as he yawned, resting his feet on a fallen log. He looked lazy and was recovering from a hangover the night before.
"Please, dad. Just trust me on this..." Kekoa said as he looked back at his father then towards the direction of footsteps.

Rasskin was indeed grateful to have his loving mother with him in such an important and crucial episode in not only his life, but a whole other families. Padding daintily, and quietly along side the sun graced female, the petite male kept close to her, his nerves that were making him shake like a leaf, calming considerably thanks to her presence. Please... please don't make this hurt his family.. the little male thought, scared to death that he would throw a wrench into Kekoa's family. He wouldn't allow himself to. If he had to, he would never see his best friend again. The last thing he wanted is to cause pain for the only one who'd ever given him the time of day.
It didn't take long for him to spot the collected trio ahead of him at the garden him and Kekoa had created, a soft warmth rising to his cheeks at spotting the male...
Her strides graceful and fluid, the elegant Leyla kept at the male's side, giving an encouraging nuzzle to his ear once in awhile as she felt his body tremble, or his wings twitch. "Stay calm, my son... allow the course of life to take it's turn... if it is to be, then trust in Mother Nature to guide her children to their destiny.." she murmured softly to him, nosing his cheek tenderly. Upon spotting Kekoa's family, she smiled lightly, and gave a polite curtsy once she reached a respectful distance, "Greetings, lady and gentlemen.." she spoke with a soft voice, feeling Rasskin mimic the same polite greeting.

Kekoa felt spazzy when seeing Rasskin walk towards him. "Rassy!" He spoke happily as he rushed over to the other male's saide with a smile. He gave him a gentle hug and a nuzzle on the cheek. "Dad... Grandma Kitsune. This is Rasskin, the fox I had been telling you about this past few weeks." He said clearly with a light blush on his face.
Kitsune curtsy to the female who came along with the dainty blue male. She looked at how her grandson was fond over this little angelic. "Pleasure to meet you, Rasskin. What might your name be, miss?" She greeted the male then asked the elegant female. She had heard many wonderful things about the fox in front of them, but was unsure of why she had to come along to a place such as this.
Katsuo raised an eye brown as he rose to his feet. "Hey..." He spoke bluntly to Leyla. He didn't really understand why his son was being really friendly with the young angelic. His tail swished as moved towards his mother's side. "So, Kekoa. what did you have to speak with us today about Rasskin?" He said as his paws were crossed over his chest once more.

The warmth on his cheeks only grew as Kekoa identified him immediately, making his wings flutter nervously. As he was swept into an embrace, his tiny paws shyly clung to the chest fur of the stronger more bold male. Of course.. this was not an appropriate act to perform in front one's family, but it certainly was comforting... causing him to shyly hide against his protector, frightened he may be a disappointment to the family of orange and black.
Smiling two the older adults, Leyla tipped her head as she introduced herself, "My name is Leyla Fin. Might I have the pleasure of knowing yours as well?" she asked kindly, not faltering from the father's dismissive demeanor. As attention was drawn to the younger of the trio, Leyla smiled faintly, seeing how much her timid son had opened up to another outside of the family. It was a rare and beautiful sight.

"Leyla Fin? Such a pretty name for a pretty fox like yourself." Kitsune smiled as she saw how her grandson was happy around the dainty blue male. He was actually looking happier than when he had spoke of the Spartan. Her tail swished then walked towards the light colored female. "I am Kitsune. That's my son, Katsuo, and grandson, Kekoa. Are you Rasskin's mother or friend?" Introducing herself and her family. She asked for she couldn't see the resemblance between the two.
Watching as his son looked happy to see the other male. He smiled lightly to see that he was happy. "Nice to meet you, Rasskin. I'm Kekoa's father." He said in a somewhat nicer tone as he uncrossed his arms.
Kekoa felt happy to see the tiny male. His tail wagged and wagged as he looked over at his grandmother. "We were going to ask both of you and Leyla a very serious question. You want me to say it, Rassy?" He said then took hold of Rassy's free paw.

He peeks out from the safety of his friend, shyly nodding to Katsuo respectfully. Fragile wings flitted nervously, nuzzling against the soft fur on Kekoa's chest, hiding again. At the feel of his tiny paw being clutched, he peeks up to the gallant Kekoa, a blush along his cheeks. Eventually, he nodded subtly, curling more against the Princely figure.
She lowers her eyes bashfully, keeping her soft smile to the compliment, "You are too kind, Ms. Kitsune.." she replies just as gently. Nodding in response to the question, she glanced to the petite Rasskin, smiling fondly at how comfortable he seemed with Kekoa. "Yes. Rasskin is my son.. he was motherless, and I brought him into our family.."

Kitsune gasped as she put a paw to cover her mouth. "That's horrible! At least he has such a wonderful mother like yourself." She said as she smiled at her grandson and his friend. "What is it, Kekoa?" Asking as she tilted her head to the side lightly.
Katsuo was curious as to what his son wanted to ask of them. He knew this had to be an important question since his mother was here. "What is it, son?" Asking as he sat down on the ground.
Kekoa smiled at little Rasskin then looked over to his family and Leyla. "Dad... Grandma Kitsune..Do you think it would be alright if Rasskin and I could be together?" He asked with a blush.

Listening to Kekoa speak, Rasskin hid as best he could against him, not wanting to see the others' reactions. He already had in his mind that this would end in disaster... Tiny blue paws tensed more to the plush orange fur, his ears pressed back, just awaiting the denying retort.
Smiles lightly, and nods, "I thank you, Ms. Kitsune.. he is quite a lovely boy.." her attention soon turns to the young foxes, watching them with an appraising expression; already quite aware of their motives as Rasskin had enlightened her earlier.

Kitsune was shocked to hear what her grandson had said. "You love this little fox, Kekoa?" Asking as she looked again at the dainty male that was hiding in her grandson's fur. She fanned herself with a paw to catch her breath. After a little while of silence, she smiled then nodded to the two. "I approve, but your father must agree as well for you two to be together. Promise me you won't jump head first into something serious?"
Katsuo almost fell off the log he sat on when his own son asked the question. He was startled and dumbfounded at what should he say. He waited to hear what kind of answer his mother had for the two young ones. Crossing his paws back over his chest, he closed his eyes as he thought hard about it. "Only on one condition, Kekoa... You cannot ever make the mistake I made..." He said seriously as he watched them.
Kekoa saw the expressions on his family's faces. He looked away, holding Rasskin close to him. He was afraid that they would deny him the one that he had true feelings for. His ears perked up when he heard his grandmother speak. He felt tears come to his eyes as he listened to her words of acceptance. "Grandma Kitsune..." He said with a huge smile then it melted away at his father's words. He nodded and pulled the dainty angelic in for a firm, but gentle hug. "We can be together..." He said before he felt a tear roll down his cheek.

Slender ears wavering as he listened, Rasskin peaked out from the shield of orange, looking over to Kekoa's family. They accepted it? Blinking shyly from Katsuo, hiding as he'd fallen, and then to Kitsune, his little face buried back into his guardian's chest. It wasn't until he could smell the salty scent of the large male's tears that made his ears twirk and head lift curiously, alarmed when he saw the tears. Had he made him upset?! Pinning his ears back, he nervously lifted his snout up to tenderly lick the others cheeks of them.
Smiling lightly along the little scene, she let her tail curl neatly around herself, pleased that Rasskin had a companion who would treat him with the gentle care he needed, and deserved. Looking to the elder generations of Kekoa's family, she nodded at their words. "I'm sure these boy's will let their feelings take time to grow.. it is a new feeling for the both of them, I can tell, but like a flower... with care, patience and devotion.. it shall blossom."

Kekoa smiled at the lick on his cheek. "We can be together, Rassy! He spoke as more tears filled his eyes. He hugged the slender male close to him as his tail wrapped around the both of them. He was happy to have an accepting family. He had found someone he really wished to care for and protect.
Kitsune felt tears come to her eyes as well as she watched the touching moment between the two boys. "He's all grown up now, Son. It only seemed like yesterday that he was just a kit..." Saying as she moved over closer to Leyla. Looking over the elegant female with a smile. "Looks like you'll be part of our family as well, Miss Fin." She added as she held out a paw to Leyla.
Katsuo chuckled as he watched his son tear up from the acceptance. He smiled deeply as he crossed his paws over his chest. "Perhaps I'll start looking for a new mother or another father for you, Kekoa." He said with a nod as his tail swished. He knew that his future grandchildren will need a grandmother or another grandfather to help raise them. He felt the courage to find love again.

Seeing how happy Kekoa was, Rasskin smiled just barely; a rare sight, and nuzzled under Kekoa's chin with a very delicate , and tender murr. He was the only male to ever be so determined to be in the angels life. Already the tiny male fox was attached to him, not liking when they were apart. He felt vulnerable and weak; though he in fact was.. Very shyly, he nestles against the crook of his protectors neck, feeling his petite figure being enveloped. He was relieved that the family seemed alright with their union, and hoped that Kekoa wouldn't leave him... after all, the meek little male wasn't much of a catch...
Chuckles softly, and nods, "I believe that to be true.. I look forward to it, Ms. Kitsune.." she bowed her head once again, ear perking at the offered paw. Smiling softly, she took the paw and gently held it, giving a light shake, "It will be nice to know that Rasskin will be under the care of one whom is devoted to him... it's certainly something he needs."

Kekoa chuckled at the murr, but he would never let go of Rasskin unless his mate needed something. "I promise to never leave your side and to always protect you, Rassy.... He spoke with a smile, giving the delicate male a like on the cheek. He felt his love nestle into the crook of his neck.
Kitsune shook Leyla's paw gently with a heart warming smile. "Now you two have a bigger part to your family..." She spoke as the wind began to pick up lightly. This caused her to shiver and look over at her son.
Katsuo chuckled then nodded to his mother. Perhaps we should leave the two be?" He suggested as he noticed it starting to get colder for his mother. He always worried about her.
