 The snow crunched softly underneath his grey paws as he ran, long body stretching out in a run. He had a strong, driving gait and powerful strides that got him from Point A to Point B rather easily. The son of a show dog dam and a sled dog sire, the only thing that kept Brishen from taking after his mom's side of the family was the fact that his tail was several inches too short and set a little low.
He would've been bummed about it, had he not found his calling in mushing. No, this way, he was able to run day in and day out, through the rush of cold and snow and ice under the runners of the sled and in the summer, the sled had wheels! His harness fit perfectly, a deep blue with brass hardware.
Yeah, Brishen was overall a happy dog.

 Kace had taken a wander away from his humans for a while, all the training and the constant attention was occasionally stifling and he had to get away for a short while. He loved his life, the humans were good and he knew he had excellent breeding, in fact out of his litter he had been the only one selected for improving the breed in the show ring. He'd managed to get out into the big park where he could sometime see the working dogs train. He liked to watch and be thankful that he didn't do that kind of thing. Why .. he could snag a claw or break a toe, even something as small as that would out off a judge, he'd got several First Place Ribbons already even at his age. and he was't about to be stupid enough to mess that up. He poked his head out of the bushes, he was in luck, there WERE dog out here training.

Brishen's Woman pulled the harness off of him and gathered up equipment, loading it into her Big Green Truck. The Siberian grinned at the option to get away and while her back was turned, he swiftly trotted out of reach. His icy eyes surveyed the other dogs, training in their sports and showing off to their Masters. He wondered if any other dogs liked to take breaks as he padded through.
His eyes landed on a bright-coated blue pup of obvious husky heritage... And Brish wasn't -gay- or anything, but the pup looked -good-... Show-quality, definitely. He was a little wistful as he watched the pup for a moment, wondering what life dancing around a ring would be like...before moving towards the husky pup.
"'Ello there," he murmured, his voice having deepened into that of an adult male, although it was higher than it could've been. He sat down a few feet away from the pup, ears pricked.

Kace watched as the sled dogs worked, although the work was obviously sweaty and hard (and in his opinion far too dirty) it looked like they were having fun. He wasn't allowed much fun when he was doing his 'job' but he didn't care. So far he was lucky that his human hadn't noticed he was missing.
He watched as one of the smaller sled dogs, maybe not completely into his full growth, began to trot over. Kace saw the appraising eye pass over him, he couldn't help but notice it, after all it was his job to be looked at, to look good. "Hello there yourself stanger, like what you see?" he winks slightly, he wasn't interested in males that way but he felt it was his duty to be flashy.

Brishen gave a soft huff of laughter at the blue and black pup's reply. Sitting down in the crust of snow, he wrapped his short tail around his paws and offered an easy smile. "I do; you must be from one heck of a pedigree," he said. "I'm gonna be bold and assume you're a show dog? My own mother showed most of her life--she's retired to have pups to carry on her lines now." His voice held an edge of pride, his chest puffing out a little bit. "I take after Dad--sledding's a great way to burn energy and keep ya fit!"
He paused. "I'm Brishen."

Kace puffed out his chest, glad his breeding was finally beginning to show, to other dogs as well as humans. "Yes, both mamma and father are lifetime champions, they were winning ribbons since my age" he said proudly, noting the other's proudness too. "It does look like fun, sledding i mean" he said, trying to have a little bit of interest, even if he had no wish to get all sweaty and mucky like the grey dog before him.
"I'm Kace, Kaceus Prima Corta" he said, telling his common name first.
