a man in love,
destined to fail,
as it has failed already,
but still he tries,
to find his place,
in this lovely maidens heart,
still he tries,
to woo her mind,
she loves another,
but also him,
she has said as much,
and proven it too,
but only one may she choose,
he remains a friend,
in her eyes,
a friend and more,
but its not enough,
while with the other,
her heart may sway,
it calls to the man,
as they meet,
man in love,
happy by her presence,
a man in love,
destined for second best,
a man in love,
wishes to cry,
a man in love,
yearns to die...
interpret it as you will...

very descriptive, intellectual and in a way poetic. you should keep writing. It helps to write when your feeling down in the dumps. I write poetry when im sad too. smile
