"Lightning is an atmospheric discharge of electricity, which typically occurs during thunderstorms,
and sometimes during volcanic eruptions or dust storms."

- - We put on one heck of a show.
"How lightning initially forms is still a matter of debate."
- - We are unpredictable.
"Lightning heats nearby air to about 10,000 °C (18,000 °F) nearly instantly, which is almost twice
the temperature of the Sun’s surface. The heating creates a shock wave that is heard as thunder."

Enough with the random information. Raiana Slate here, d
former Thunder Mistress, at your service. Before I get into the meaningful information, let's get a few ground rules down.
-- Follow the Gaia ToS. Everyone knows that.
-- Don't start any senseless fights. In the forums, not Rp-wise. Fighting in Rp's is always fun.
-- I know the Guild Rules says to 'Look the Part', meaning dress like your Element, but to be honest, I could not care less. If you do dress the part, kudos to you! All I am saying, is that it is not required, but is encouraged.
-- Do not Spar in this thread. For Lightning Users, there is the 'Lightning Fields' for training and sparing.
-- Please, never ever, ever, ever, ever use *'s when Roleplaying. Semi-Literates I can deal with, but complete and utter noob's and I would gladly throttle without regrets. In this thread, feel free!
-- If you want to join this element as an apprentice, feel free to leave a post in this thread or even send either DarkShock or Ritzo a Pm.

Right then! With that out of the way, lets get down to business.
This element is all about E l e c t r i c i t y, not the loud noise that sometimes makes your ears pop. We manipulate E l e c t r o n s. You know, those little things that power up the computer / laptop you are browsing on now? But hey, don't get disheartened! Like it said above in one of those random facts, Lightning still makes a lot of noise when you want it too!
Thunder Elementalist's are built for speed. Quick reactions and reflexes, high speed running and heightened senses. React and Attack; something the Thunder Master likes to teach. We Thunder Elementalist's are not meant to take on a lot of physical damage; we evade an attack, then hit back in kind. Using the electrons around us, it is possible and frequently used to charge up our bodies, increasing our speed further and sometimes increasing physical strength. But remember, the more energy you use, the more you lose, meaning fatigue is a common thing. But don't be alarmed! It is quite easy to replenish wasted energy when needed. There are a few techniques, but sleep works just as good. I embrace that fact with open arms!
Also, because of our knowledge and control of electricity, T e c h n o l o g y is like a first language to us. There is no other element that has the technologic smart like we do! Feel free to use any gadgets and gizmo's you can create! Both the Master and the Mistress has their own robotic pet, doesn't mean you can't have one either!
Now that all the serious stuff is over, let get crackin' on!
