So what did everybody think about Gaga's 2011 Grammy performance? She performed her new single "Born This Way," and she arrived in an egg to symbolize her "birth" at the show.
It all happened a bit fast, but I enjoyed it. Her voice is always beautiful and her openings are as well. Was I expecting more? Yes, I was. It seemed like she couldn't do too much in her costume, but I think I was expecting too much of the "WOW" factor from her and more of a rendition of "Born This Way." A lot of her live performances consist of a rendition of her studio versions, but I guess she really wanted to send the message across straightforward.
What did all of you guys think about the performance? Love it? Hate it? Explain why.

I liked it strong vocals great dancing and seeing that egg on the red carpet was funny. I thought her hairdo was very Madonna Blond Ambition tour which I think was done on purpose biggrin . I also think people are expecting Lady Gaga to turn water into wine or something with every performance. People want so much from her and she gives us Little Monsters way more than she should. She could be out buying cars and s**t but she spends all her time and money on us.
Anyone know if she is performing on Jay Leno tomorrow or is it just a interview?

Back to back performances can be tough with a new song, even for Gaga.

Well. I don't love it. I like it. I expected more. I waited a long time for this performance it was very disappointing because of my expectations. It was good. BUT I AM OUTRAGED BY WHO WON AND WHO DIDN'T. EMINEM HAS TEN F*CKING NOMINATIONS AND ONLY WINS ONE?!?!?! WTF IS WRONG WITH THE ACADEMY GIVING IT TO ARCADE FIRE AND LADY ANTEBELLUM. LADY ANTEBELLUM ARE RIDING THE WAVE OF GRAMMYS ONLY WITH ONE F*CKING SONG THAT WAS PLAGIRAIZED! UGH. stressed scream

Aw, Arcade Fire deserves some recognition. They're a good band. If Gaga couldn't win album of the year, I'm glad it was them. Lady Antebellum though, I don't see how they won a thing.
I liked her performance. I thought she looked adorable in her outfit and I loved the organ business at the end.
