This is a term I have come across recently, as an alternative to the word "Wicca" for non-initiates.
DRW as I understand it would include all things mislabelled "Wicca", such as Standing Stone, Seax, various eclectic forms miscalled "eclectic Wicca" and so forth. But as it's dedicatory, it would exclude things like Feri which require initiation.
I'm unsure whether religious witchcrafts not loosely based on books about Wicca would count also. Would religious forms of more traditional witchcraft fall into this category? What about much more eclectic Paganisms that incorporate witchcraft?

I wouldn't think anything other than "eclectic Wicca" and Wiccaesque witchcraft could be considered DRW. As far as I know, from what I've read in the past, "Wicca" was the only thing that required any for of dedication to the craft. If one follows an eclectic path based on other forms of Paganism and they wish to incorporate Witchcraft, I think it'd be their own choice to dedicate or not. I mean, is it really necessary that one dedicate themselves to their craft if they practice?
What exactly does it mean to "dedicate" oneself to ones practice?
I'm even more against calling family traditions DRW. They're family traditions for a reason and they fit just fine in that category alone. It's no ones business what they do or how they do it, otherwise they wouldn't be family traditions and everyone should just stay out of their bloody damn business scream
Plus, who's to say they do any form of Dedication? No one but they know, anyhow.

Sanguina Cruenta Loona Wynd What about people with dedicant status in a specific tradition? .....? I am a dedicant in the Temple tradition of witchcraft. There are dedication rituals and then a specific initiation ritual. The tradition also has a specific core which only dedicants and honored members can get. Would the temple tradition still count as a DRW?

I think if it's already a Dedicatory craft, it doesn't count under the "should the rest of them" category. It's obvious it requires dedication and can therefore be considered as correct for the DRW title.
However, witchcraft that doesn't require dedication doesn't really fall under DRW.
