At X2W's upcoming PPV The Gauntlet. The main event will feature X2W World Heavyweight Champion Matt Draven defending the title agianst not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 challengers in a Gauntlet match. The Gauntlet match has happend in the world of Gaia-Wrestling before but never has it has been here. X2W Continues to innovate and change the playing field time and time again. The Gauntlet Match is another example of the new wave of wrestling X2W plans to give to the Gaia-Wrestling world.

A Traditional Gauntlet match has one guy taking on 4-6 people and if he beats all his opponents he's the winner but if he loses just once. Than the match is over. At X2W's Gauntlet is more like a chance the ace version. Even if the Defending champion is pinned. the match does not end. The match ends when there is only one survivor left in the ring. So if the Champ is pinned. whoever is next on the gauntlet list comes out. When there is only one wrestler left in the ring. The match is over and that last wrestler standing is the winner of the Gauntlet.

The Gauntlet is just the start of X2W's ever so aggressive Tournament's with the Crusierweight friendly Zero-Limit's Tournament. Followed by the hardcore only Deathmasters tournament in may.
