Each Element has it's own kind of kingdom and royalty.



Air and water elements aren't quite as in the war as the other elements are, due to their not being on land constantly.

Elemental traits:



General Personality: cold, usually sticks to their own element
Habits: during winter all ice dragons come out, but in spring and summer, no one ever sees an ice dragon out. they rarely fly long distances. don't travel.



General Personality: Happy, cheerful, hates the war and every emotion it brings with it (despair, depression, hatred, etc.) they are against negative emotions.
Habits:pre-war air dragons could be seen everywhere you looked, cheering other dragons up. they could also be seen twirling in the clouds. but now, they stay in the clouds and only really really lucky dragons have seen an air dragon.



General Personality: Torturous, hating, proud of only themselves, thinks they should rule.
Habits: picks on the smaller dragons and tortures those that get left behind while traveling.



General Personality:Happy, but yet calm, their emotions come and go like the tide.
Habits: pre-war could be seen sunbathing on the stony shores. present, it is an honor to see one's head pop out of the water.



General Personality: if you harm any tree's they will do what they can to get justice. protective, loyal, but yet sweet and kind. they have big hearts.
Habits: helps stragglers and orphans of any element, even though they are in a war.



General Personality: quiet, graceful, nice, warm
Habits: Usually Sun/Light dragons just watch the others, but when dark dragons get involved, so do they.



General Personality: two words: pure evil
Habits: Acts on their own accords, none can harm them except sun/light dragons.

"Darun, you must hurry and find The One, time is running out my dear." Darun's mother told her in her dream. "Where? Where is he, mother?" She asked the shadows in her dream "find him, my daughter, follow the darkness" and Darun woke up. 'Follow the darkness? what does that mean?' she asked herself.

"MIRO! now where did that whelp go?" Miro heard his name called as he landed after the routine survey of the boarders from the sky. "yes?" he asked the king of darkness. "there was a new capture today" the kind began, "and you are on torture duty." he started walking, expecting Miro to follow, "no matter what they say, do not let up on them..." Miro looked at him "but, i-" the king stopped and stared at him "do you not want this? are our natural ways not enough pleasure to you?" he stared at Miro, Miro remained silent. "Speak!" the king ordered. "Miro looked at his own talons, this had never been his ideal lace to live, he wanted to strike out against his own kind, but doing so would more-than-likely mean his death. "Speak you insolent WHELP." the king growled. Miro readied his wings, this was his time, "No" and that simple word meant his immediate exile, and maybe his execution. "Why you-" The king raised a long, sharp talon, ready to strike Miro's cheek. but before he could, Miro shot into the sky, he heard his former king growl "you EVER come back here; and you will be executed, you are no longer one of the darkness!" and Miro was finally free, after all of his years in the presence of such devilish and sick-minded dragons, he was finally free of them. his wings trailed dark clouds as he flew.

Darun looked up and saw dark clouds "it-it couldn't be....can it?" She flew into the sky and followed the clouds. After several minutes she almost smacked into another dragon, by the looks of it a dark dragon. "who are you? whats your name?" she asked the dragon.

Miro turned to the other dragon "Who are you?" he questioned it.

"I am Darun, daughter of the Oracle Mira." She bowed her head in greeting.

"Miro, former dark dragon." He answered. "what are you doing here?" he asked her.

"Trying to find you." Darun grinned, her heart sped 'it's you, finally i found you' she thought to herself.

Miro gave her a questioning stare "Me? why me?" he flew back a couple of feet.

Darun nodded her head to the ground below.

"But thats Earth dragon territory." He gave her a worried and suspicious look. "i-i cant go there." he told her.

"Earth dragons try not to harm other dragons, although it's a war. and they listen to me." she explained. "now, c'mon." she smiled a friendly smile.

Miro followed her into Earth dragon territory. "alright, now...what this all about? why were you looking for me?" he asked her.

"before you were born, there was a mighty dragon god, one who cherished all elements, he...he kept the world from falling apart. but then he...he was assassinated...no one will fess up to doing it. and so out of revenge the elements went to war...and now, prophecy tells of a young dark dragon who will take the throne, and sned the world back into what it was before the war; a dark dragon by the name of-"

"Miro..." Miro interupted. "but...but how? How will i EVER be able to..." he paused.

"you wont be alone...i will help you along with others who will come later. You will NEVER be alone again." Darun promised, she looked at him then the sky which was turning into a sunset. "rest now, Miro, you now hold a large amount of responsibility. but that can all start tomorrow." she whispered to him.

Miro laid his head on his arms, wings folded against his body engulfing his back legs and his tail, which was wrapped along his body; and fell asleep.
