"There is nothing normal about being normal." Spoke Serena Fox, to her new class mates. Her flowing red hair waved and curled in random areas that would one day point out her curves. However at her youthful age of seven, it didn't point out anything besides her small lips, large eyes, flat chest, and no curves. At that time her hair only went to her mid-back. That was the first day in a life time that things seemed to be normal in Blank, Pennsylvania. She was a foreign exchange student from another Country. The students and teachers would ask where she was from, but she spoke in a native tongue which they wouldn't be able to translate.
Yet after their fascination with her was done. She was quickly forgotten but never looked over. She was great at sports but it showed she never pushed herself since every time they had to run the mile she wasn't ever out of breath. As time went on her speak and understanding of languages started to blossom. She was amazing at learning languages faster than anyone with in any of her classes, yet she failed in mathematics and sciences. Oddly enough by Jr High School, she was of average height, but looked very skinny compared to most of the girls. Her body didn't have a lot of curves yet but within the middle of seventh grade she was pulled out of school and no one saw her until the tenth grade.
When she was enrolled again into Black Bully High School, Serena Fox was three inches above average female height which left her at five feet nine inches. She was still skinny but now toned out so that the small indention of her muscles showed within PE. Her hair now fluttered down to the back of her knees, the waves and curls pointed to her bust, fully shaped lips, innocently shaped eyes, and soft olive white skin. Of course she was no longer over looked. Many found her breath taking. When she was questioned of where she went, she clearly stated, "I went to visit my grandparents."
She became the talk of the town.
Only the odd part was that right when she arrived back to school, a strange spring of murders started to occur. At first someone just that they were just bad luck signs or random acts of mechanical failures. The bad part of this was that while a group of friends were going out to party they saw something they should have never seen before in their lives. Their life of easy going beliefs and dreams were thrown out the windows within a blink of an eye. Because these kids had a direct and hidden blood line to a world they would have never known to be true.
As they were walking out of their car to head towards a party within the woods they noticed something odd happened. Everything stopped. A bird that was about to land was frozen from where it was at within in mid-air. Then it happened. A roar from a belly that spewed up rocks was heard and there she was, Serena Fox, with a scythe in her hand that was larger than she was. Her attire was her normal low rider jeans, and knee high boots, as her shirt was slightly ripped from one of her sleeves. This came up as a surprise to see her since everything else seemed to be stuck in time.
The funny part was that when someone called out to her, Serena looked to see who it was and was also shocked. This wasn't a good thing. Serena had a bolder tossed at her which knocked her closer to the group of friends who saw blood oozing out of the rock. As the rock like creature that looked like Phil the mechanic that everyone knew and loved, the worry grew within the group. Then another odd occurrence happened. The bolder that was holding Serena started to move. The rock broke in half and there she was, with blood running down her forehead and down her arms. Her attire was thrashed.
This is the moment that changed everyone's lives forever. Serena a girl no one in the group had ever become friends with before was now trying to save them. Yet at the last moment of a battle that they all thought would last for years came to an end. The body was cut in half, blood falling down like rain. Serena looked like a hungry monster that had just finished its work out. However when she was done she wobbled for a few moments and fell to her knees worn out. Time then restarted.
The bird that was caught within the moment settle onto the ground but then quickly left. The sound of the party that was still a few miles away was heard as if it was only a few feet away. The blood was gone from the beast and all that was left was the body of a man that no one could even figure out what gender it was. Serena's own blood was now dry as she started to get up and as she did so, the scythe was gone. The necklace around her neck now shown bright as day of a small red jewel that looked like it was on the scythe.
