Just like the title says, What is your favorite episode of the Stargate series? SG-1? Atlantis? Universe? Post your choice below.

I'll kick things off... For me, as of this moment, my favorite episode would have to be from Stargate Atlantis. The episode where Ronin Dax has to be certified to become an 'official' team member. Samantha Carter brings Teal'c to Atlantis to help smooth the process along. About half way through Teal'c and Ronin have a 'sparring' session, which supposedly lasted for an hour with no break. I remember thinking all the way up until that point 'I wish they'd show Teal'c and Ronin actually fighting' and then there it was, followed closely by the two kicking a** together to stop the Wraith from getting to Earth. Teal'c and Ronin 'sparring'

Your thinking of the episode called "Midway" season 4 episode 17. And I agree with you that episode is truly great as it puts the "what if" theory to the test. Who would win Teal'c or Ronin. I did like how they made them seem even during the fight, that way its up to the fans to decide who the true victor would be in the end.
As for me gods its so hard to pick and all time favorite so I'll just list I a few favorites from each of the shows. "Window of Opportunity, The Fifth Race, Torment of Tantalus, Lost City, Hero's, Maternal Instinct, Meridian, Abyss, Threads, The Pegasus Project, 200, Tao of Rodney, Sunday, The Shrine, Satdea, Auroa, Before I Sleep, Earth, Time, and The Great Good.
This list is by no means complete, I just didn't feel like listing everyone of my favorites out.

lol I suck at remembering episode names. I'm the guy who can describe an episode.
"Oh... its the episode where yada yada yada happened, and so and so said this, which was followed by yida yida yida"
Mind you I can't do that for every episode, only the one's that really got me interested. Ive yet to see season 7 of SG1 and seasons 1 & 2 of Atlantis, and all of Universe, so I no doubt will have many more episodes to like. 4laugh

I'm crazy about SG1, so I don't know much about Atlantis or SGU (didn't really get into either, and now it's a bit late to catch up xD) but I think I have about one each season, usually, though it's hell to decide xD
Emancipation, Small Victories, Divide and Conquer, Entity, Prometheus, Death Knell, Heroes 1 and 2 (OhGodJanet!), Lost City, Threads, and Unending.
I can't pick a favorite from S2 and 3 because they were just awesome..
Of course, any moment with Sam and Jack being shippy is a favorite, as I am shamelessly in love with that couple.
Despite being so bad at picking favorite moments (the whole ten seasons were just full of them, dammit!), my favorite sad moment was Daniel's ascension.. the first one. The music really set the atmosphere!

So I guess I have one now. This week's SGU episode 'Epilogue'. Certainly strange that the shoot off I have had the most problems getting into has the episode I think that I remember most about Stargate in general.
-sigh-
I really need to get all of Stargate on DVD.
