So post what digimon you would want to be partnered with and why. Also, if you could make your own digimon what would it look like and what would its attacks and evolutions be?

Oh geeze... favorite Digimon huh? I guess that'd have to be
Tyrannomon->MetalTyrannomon->Chaosdramon
I always loved Tyrannomon and MetalTyrannomon, i thought their designs were better than the Greymon line for that and then I saw Chaosdramon, basically a Red beefed up Machinedramon with a head that seemed to fit the Tyrannomon line better. Side's wouldn't it be fun to have a war machine as a partner? biggrin
Ahh the old fan made Digimon... i need to redesign him and maybe get some art done for him.. soo when i get that i'll post it up razz

As far as existing digimon go, my favorite is and remains Lighdramon, although I also have a certain fondness for the various branches of the Dorumon line.
As for fan made digimon, Zapmon is kind of a brat, but she's been with me for over a decade even if I don't have the artistic ability to do her or her evolutionary line justice. At least I can portray them well enough in writing. ^_^;

I adore anything Beelzemon-shaped and related.
So that goes to show my favorite Digivolution chain is:
Kiimon -> Yaamon -> Impmon -> Baalmon -> Beelzemon/Blast Mode/X -> Reincarnated Beelzemon.
I remember watching Season 3 and falling in love with only because of Beelzemon. I love that Brooklyn-accented Digimon. xD

My favorite digimon have always been Guilmon, probably because of his tamer Takato, I guess I was kind of tired in those moments about the protagonist being the same... Guilmon was also a very unique digimon and that is the reason why season 3 is my favorite. And of course, Gallantmon and his crimson mode are awesome.
Guilmon -> Growlmon -> WarGrowlmon -> Gallantmon or Megidramon
PS:
(I wouldn't mind having Megidramon as partner.... of course, I would have to work very hard if I don't want him to kill me before I could convince him to let me be his partner sweatdrop )

Megidramon is definitely a tough one to control, but with the right kind of discipline and nurturing Megidramon would make for a powerful ally. Of course, you might need some special equipment to pull that off. I'll bet Ryo probably knows where to something that might help!

Megidramon is not exactly as small as Ryo's digimon sweatdrop Probably I could piss him off more xd (Taking in count this whole destruction of the Digital World part of him)

When Digimon first came out, I was totally obsessed with Gatomon. I really love that cat. Then, I started to mellow out and was not an obsessive person anymore. Still love her though. Anyway, I had a weird dream once that an Agumon followed me home, so he probably would have been my partner.
When I was still obsessive, I made up a digimon named Angelcatmon, who was basically a yellow version of Gatomon.

Well it's probably about time I jump in. I don't really know who my partner would be. My favorite digimon would be... well actually I like the Lucemon line, but the one I drew out.
Puttomon > Lucemon > Angemon > LordHolyAngemon > Goldramon
I made a lot of digimon before. My favorite though would have to be Saagemon. He is a dna digivolution of Gargomon and Lynxmon.

This really better exemplifies what it's like when I make up my own digimon. I've got a lot of stuff on there that won't make it into more recent Digimon RP's even though it might have seemed like a good idea during the time of creation, but then that was years ago. Well, except for the Digi Xros stuff. That's all new. I just haven't had much of a chance to exploit it yet.
