A large library with a seemingly endless amount of books and many small round tables for reading. It's still a bit dusty from not being active for a while.

Cupid walked in, or mostly tried to walk in. She had tripped, and her glasses had scattered across the floor before she could open the door. Quickly the girl grabbed the fallen lenses and placed them on her nose, standing up and brushing herself off before walking inside. Immediately she went over to the fiction section and started looking through the fairy tales. Stories of young, beautiful maidens who'd fall in love with their Prince Charmings. They sounded nice, sweet, the teenage dream. They also sounded fake. Cheesy, and fake.
Cupid set the book down and moved on to another one, quickly finding herself sticking her nose into a book about a frog and a princess. A classic, of course. A princess would have to release a young man from his curse, kissing him in his amphibian body and transforming him back.

She found the story lovely really, yet placed it back on the shelf until she spied one of her favorites. A boy named Cupid shot an arrow towards a girl, who then fell in love with a boy she thought she hated. Near the end, however, she was released from the curse but finally found her feelings were true. Something about it was quite romantic, and the cupid thing forced her to smirk lightly.

The librarian sat boredly, reading a book as he didn't notice the female student walk in. Though he did notice a small dog trot in as he smiled lightly and got up. He then walked over to said dog and started petting it lightly. "So you managed to get here, huh? That's nice. How's it been for you so far?"
The dog barked back happily, wagging it's tail.
"Oh, right." Jake said with a chuckle, picking up the dog kindly. "If you want to rent any books, we'll be out shortly!" He hollered to the girl he hadn't noticed until just now before exiting through a door next to his desk. A few moments later he came out with a small boy in his arms, replacing the dog. He had on a dark blue hoodie that was just a bit too big for him and some black shorts that went just above his knees.
The boy was placed down on the desk, waving his legs over the edge happily as Jake sat in his chair. He was glad he was finally with his adoptive father again. Certain problems had made it too difficult for the two to come together.

"A-Ah...?" She noised in confusion, nearly dropping the book out of surprise. Cupid nodded quickly towards librarian, returning the book to its natural habitat. With trembling hands she grabbed the nearest 'Grimm's Fairy Tales', and stepped over towards the librarian, nudging her glasses back onto her nose. "I want...Th-This one."

"Of course." He mumbled, slightly curious of her stuttering as he picked up the book and scanned it. "There you go, miss." Jake then said politely with a small smile as he handed it to her.

"Ah.." She mumbled, taking the book in her hand lightly, nodding with a slight smile. "Thank you..!" Cupid giggled innocently, although there was a tad bit of embarrassment on her face. She clutched the book tightly, stumbling out of the library.

"Welcome!" The boy called out with a wave as she exited, then putting his hand down with a giggle of his own. After he saw her exit completely, the smile he had disappeared and he hopped off of the desk to sit on the floor beneath where he was sitting with his knees curled up to his face.
"That's longer than you usually last." The older male said bluntly as he leaned over to look at the boy on the floor, both a sad and proud smile on his face.

He was about to nod, but instead ran back into the backroom he had went in earlier as he heard the door to the library click.
"You're seriously lucky." Fuyuki stated in slight awe at how fast she'd found it. "You sure you don't have any special bird powers that guide you to the place you want to go?" He asked jokingly, now rambling as he thought about which book section he should go to.

She smiled widely, looking around the large room in awe. "Nope, no birdy powers that I know of." She cooed quickly, hopping off to the first section she saw, which was animals. She glanced around before she found birds, giggling madly.
January was slightly excited as well, though his personality didn't let him express it like the female raven had. He brushed a lock of his dark hair behind an ear, nudging his glasses back up and looking around. There were so many books...

He was shortly confused since he didn't happen to have ears as good as the dog before glancing over to the people who had just entered, then leaning back in his seat to wait if they wanted to check anything out.
"I see." Fuyuki mumbled before unconsciously following her to the animal section and picking up a book about wolves. He then opened up the large hardcover book and sat in a cushy chair to read it.

January slightly waddled over to the librarian, surprised he was doing so. "You're the librarian, right?" He asked in a small voice.
Aud watched Fuyuki after she had grabbed a book, cocking her head as she flipped through the pages. "There's only one type of crow in america, you know?"

"Um, yes." Said librarian answered awkwardly, straightening from his slightly slouched position and glancing at the computer on his desk. "Is there a certain book you're looking for?"
"I didn't know that." The wolf replied distantly, flipping through his chosen book to find something he didn't already know.

He shook his head, glancing away for a few seconds. "N-no." He mumbled in a quiet tone, walking to a section which he somewhat reognized. Horror.
Aud nodded lightly, doing the same as her canine friend. "Yep. Most of the others are in the Middle East and Africa. They're about the size of a book."

"Alright." He replied, leaning back into his previous position. Though after a few moments of making sure the others were occupied at the moment, he got up and slipped into the back room the dog had went into.
"That's large for a bird, right?" He asked a bit dumbly in the same distant voice, though this time sounding a bit more interested.
