I have a test on genetic engineering and cloning tomorow, and basically for the whole time we were learning about it i was completely lost. Does anyone have a way to easily explain how these 2 processes work?

If I am not mistaken, Cloning is achived by taking a DNA strand cluster from one living thing and inserting it into a furtile but unused egg, and in that way duplicating the mytocondrial DNA. But that is all I think I know, I slept through most of my biology and science classes. sweatdrop

Hmm, february? Just in case you find out a way to go back in time, after reading this, here it is. Genetic Engeniering: Adding together two different thing to form an ultimate being. Like adding together a very tall man, and a very tall woman to form an even taller child. Its like Yao Ming, his parents were both tall basketball players, they had sex, and their child came out even taller. So the idea behind the process is to create the perfect being through breeding that is controlled.
Cloning.... Its like twins. Except your born a lonely child, and they take a blood sample from you and make a copy of you. The copy will have the exact same charecteristics. It will be a copy of you. Like... if you have 1 eye, and have another one cloned, it will be exactly like the first one and can be implanted.
