Leorand sighed, pushing open the door to his old room, once again his as he returned from a time spent too long, too far away. He couldn't help but let a small grin pull at the corner of his lips as he slowly moved through the threshold. Setting his bags down on his bed he took the time to take in the stale feeling his room was left with after his parting. He frowned at the sorry condition of the bed beside him, empty and just as half-destroyed as it had been left from the arguements from his old room mate.
Why they let me come back is beyond me. He closed his eyes and sat down on his bed, running a hand through his thick hair, trying to think on everything that had happened when last he had been here. The drama, the fun, the scandal. He'd been one of the worst, and a few months away probably wasn't going to change that. He opened his eyes and stood back up, turning on the lights, he made the other bed, then began putting his things away. Regardless of the previous enrollment, he was going to do what he needed to do.

Ellie told herself in a soft voice though tears began to

Luna walked up to the door saw someone waiting at the door she just walked in and saw someone already in there."Oh hello."

Leorand heard the knock and looked up, then seeing the door open and someone walk in, he tilted his head and frowned. "Hey, you must be my room ma-" He paused as the new arrival moved and he saw a familiar face behind her. He wanted to smile, but the forming tears stopped him. He moved passed the new girl and offered a soft apology for his lack of attention, then moved to see Ellie.
"Ellie... what's up..." He stood in the threshold, the door slightly open behind him as he looked at her with a soft frown. He remembered the pain he'd caused and the drama he'd started back before he left, and he looked away slightly, running a hand through his hair. "Look... Ellie... I'm sorry. It was my fault. You were the victim of drama I'd started back then. Don't blame yourself for it, I'm the one that caused it all."

Ellie looked at the small frown on Leorand's face then looked away from him holding back all signs of emotion Tell him it's fine her mind told her but she did not do as she thought of doing ''...I...I just..came to pick up my things...'' she whispered choking on her words and holding back tears

He opened his mouth to say something, trying hard to think of anything to say to make things fine between them. When he realized there was nothing he could say, he stepped aside and closed his eyes, his face downcast to the floor, averting his gaze from anyone. "I'm sorry..." He finally opened his eyes and stared to his side of the room, giving her access to the rest of the room to retrieve her things.

Ellie looked at him and then at the floor as she walked in slowly she took out her suitcase and and packed her clothing and her other belongings she looked at the now dead rose and then at Leorand she took her notebook that was full of notes and pictures that she had drawn for him and left it on his bed and threw away the rose ''I hope you ...w..will be happy now with the girl that you truely love and without me no longer getting in your way...'' she said in a soft shakey voice as she walked to the door with her suitcase she took one last look at the room that she had shared with him a couple of tears escaped her eyes.

What could he say, what words could convey the confusion that attacked his mind without relent. "Ellie, I am with no one." He admitted. "I had left after that whole... episode... and I ran from my problems. I have no love here, not anymore, and at the rate I'm going, I never will." He sighed and looked at the book, then back at her.
"It is why I apologize, Ellie. Of all the people I've hurt, you were one of the closest people I had. I wasted that." He shook his head and left the door open as he moved to his bed and picked up the book, turning the pages, taking in the art, and every turn, his heart hurting a little more from his idiocy.

Ellie didn't know what to say she sat outside of the door where Leorand couldn't see her and burst into tears I loved you...I still do... she told herself wanting to run through that door and tell him but she couldn't her body wouldn't obey instead she sat there crying with her suitcase at her side

Leorand looked up and turned, hearing the sounds he wished not to hear. He moved out of the room and followed the sound, seeing Ellie crying beside the door. He moved to stand in front of her and sat on his heels, gently reaching out and brushing the tears from her cheeks. "I caused you pain... I hurt you in the worst way and didn't even realize it." He noted and frowned softly. "I don't want forgiveness, Ellie... I want to see your smile again. That beautiful happy smile that brightened our room."

Ellie looked at Leorand's frown and looked down again crying more ''That smile no longer exsists...and i doubt it will ever come back...'' she whispered in her shakey voice ''Once something is truly lost one can never get it back again...I lost the only thing that made me happy years ago then when i met you i thought i found happiness again but i lost you though i never had you in the first place....'' she added as she kept crying

He stopped frowning, instead keeping his face soft, almost neutral. He gently placed his palm on her cheek and wiped away the tears with his thumb. "Ellie, you will find it again. You may have heard it a hundred times before, but you will find happiness again." He offered a soft smile. "I may not be the one to make you happy, Ellie, but I will help you find the one who will."

He kept her gaze for a while, not knowing what to say, or what to do. He finally closed his eyes and took a slow breath. When he opened his eyes again, he looked away. "Ellie... we don't know each other well enough... I can see it, I can acknowledge your feelings for me... but I do not know you well enough. We can spend some time together, get to know each other better, but until then... until then I can't say anything that'll change what is."
