Since we've done very little actual horrorizing in this guild, I figure I'd promote the concept as well as spark some creativity.
I would like you to horrorize something. It can be anything non-horror related. A cartoon you watched as a kid, a Soap Opera, anything at all that doesn't have anything to do with horror.
You can do this through traditional means, by drawing or sketching, or through photoshop manipulation.
The only rule is that you can't just grab an image someone else horrorized and submit it. Obviously that's plagiarism. The image in question has to be manipulated to look significantly different from its original form.
The winners will be decided by myself and the other mods. Needless to say, mods can't enter this contest. Sorry guys.
1st place gets 50,000 Gold
2nd place gets 20,000 Gold
3rd place gets 10,000 Gold
Even if you don't win, every image submitted will be used for our front page. We'll rotate them every month or so. In addition to that, these images can serve as new Horrorize discussions, so none of your work will go to waste.
I haven't determined the dead line for the contest yet, we'll see how fast the entries will roll in, if at all.
Hopefully this will spark some more activity in this guild.
