 Wind serpents...Rulers of the skies and on the ground they walk on. This lone serpent was roaming the plains as her crest of feathers swished in the light breeze. Her wings spread out as she took off to the sky, looking for her next kill. Her glowing red eyes darted to and fro as she looked at the ground below her. Nothing... Her gaze returned to where her direction had be pointed out.
A low hiss drew out from between her long fangs. Landing, she gave off a sigh of disappointment. Her long tail swished irritably behind her as her ears were pinned back. She was upset to not have found a meal in two days.

 Not far from where the red and white wind serpent had set down, in a grove of trees, Har'koa was enjoying her own meal.
She'd caught a small burrower, and though it didn't have much meat on its bones, she was glad for the meal it made. She'd been offered food at the house that she'd taken refuge at, but she'd refused. She was a wild animal, a Goddess (even if her size and form had been slightly reduced in this dimension), and she'd take her Mojo away herself, before she acted like a trained house cat.
She tore one of it's legs off and chewed thoughtfully. Her mind was on Loque and repopulating the snow leopards, when she heard the most imperceptible of noises. Scales on grass. She knew that sound, though where she came from, there wasn't much grass on the ground. She grabbed her kill and scampered up a tree, setting down on her haunches to see if her guess was right.

Ears perking up at the sound of a low grumble. Looking down at her disappearing stomach then back up to eye level. Sighing as she walked along more, but towards the shade of a tree. She wanted to nap if she could find food soon. Everything was hard to find now a days. It seemed that the land was dying...

Cyan eyes glowed dimly in the bright light as Har'koa watched the Wind Serpent come into view at the base of the tree she perched in with her kill. She growled lowly, following the Serpent vixen's movements. Har'koa licked blood from her muzzle and thought. Why would a Wind Serpent be all the way out here? Had the Drakkari sent her? If so, why had it taken the Serpent this long to find her? Har'koa had been here for months. Serpent assassins were usually faster than that.
Regardless of the reason, the Serpent was here now. And there was the chance that Har'koa would have to kill her. If she was working for the Drakkari, she couldn't let her slip back to Azeroth tell them where she was. Har'koa had been running for so long. She wasn't going back, not without a fight.
She unsheathed her claws and waited for an opportunity. She would get one chance, and the moment the Serpent showed any sort of weakness, Har'koa would take it.

Laying down under the shade of the tree, Fyglia let out a sigh as she rested her head on her paw. "I'll be dead before a meal shows itself to me..." Speaking as her stomach growled. Her ears laid flat against her head as it began to her. Her tail was wrapped around her as she tried to muster up the will to sleep through the pain.

Har'koa saw her chance and almost took it. But she stopped and took another good look at the Serpent. She looked like she was in pain. More than likely not a threat to Har'koa.
She sighed. The smart thing to do would be to drop down now and put the poor creature out of her misery. The smart thing to do would be to run as fast as she could, away from this Serpent. She did not do the smart thing. Instead she did a very stupid thing.
She dropped her kill right in between the Serpent's paws.

Fyglia jumped after the kill had landed in her paws. She was astonished then hunger flushed over her. A low growl came from between her fangs as she dug into the kill. She had ate and pick it clean as her tail swished. She gave a smile of satisfaction as she liked her fangs clean of blood. "Thank you....Where ever this meal had fallen from..." Speaking as she stretched out her wings. She better than before, but needed to find more food to help keep her from having the same fate twice.

Har'koa snapped her teeth in irritation. You fool! Just because you have no cubs here to mother does not mean that you can take this Serpent under your paws. And now you've given up one of the few kills you've managed to find today. She sighed in irritation and silently dropped down behind the tree. She meant to head off in the other direction in search of more food, but instead she found herself facing the Serpent's direction, watching her curiously, wondering what her next move would be.
