Okay so I feel like everyone is adult enough in this guild to handle a thread like this without starting a war over it so let's hear what games you would like to see remade!
I'd like to see these games remade:
Silent hill (pretty much any of the older ones)
Resident evil (pretty much any of the older ones even if they have a remake already)
Parasite Eve 1 & 2
Final Fantasy 1~9 (some of these only really need the graphics updated and maybe some fixes to the fighting systems and maybe a few small changes to the stories or hmm maybe not because it wouldn't be that game if they changed the story I'm undecided about changing the stories at all because it could really mess things up D: )
Dino Crisis
Chrono Trigger
Legend of Legaia
Skies of Arcadia

I was actually thinking FF7 needed graphics updated during the LP.
I really don't have many old games to be remade. I mostly play the newer games or already remade versions of the old ones.

Lord Zy I was actually thinking FF7 needed graphics updated during the LP. I really don't have many old games to be remade. I mostly play the newer games or already remade versions of the old ones. I would love if they updated FF7 to be honest,I was a fan of the game before all this fanboy and fangirling started (not hating on the fanboys/fangirls don't get me wrong) and I love the game for more than just Cloud,this is one of the games me and my brother bonded over when I was younger and one of the first games he let me help him level up on which I loved :3 How about any of the Pokemon games? do you think any of them need updating?

The only games that aren't near the cutting edge are Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. They might be interesting to see in the new style they're making the games in. Any of the others would feel too redundant, in my opinion.

I only asked because I know you know a lot about them,I don't know too much only what I read and what you tell me :3 is there any older games you played you'd want to see remade? even if there's a remake of it already? I only know what games you've played(not long ago)/are playing currently so that's why I keep asking XD

I would like to see the original Fable remade too now that you've brought it up,I've only played part 2 & 3 but watched my brother play part 1,I think it would be nice to have all 3 on the Xbox360 :3 I've never played many of the Zelda games,I played a little bit of the original and saw bits and peaces of the others that's it.

I never made it through the first one, but what i heard was it was too short and lacked a lot. The LoZ games would have to be remade for the DS. But I think they would be fun. They're making Ocarina of Time for the 3DS. One day I'll try that game again. It's the reason I didn't like 3d game for so long.

Just pointing out, haven't some of the earlier Pokémon games been remade already? I mean, Leaf Green and Fire Red as well as Heart Gold and Soul Silver. In a couple years time, they might remake Ruby and Sapphire too.
As for games I'd like to see remade... Hmm, actually it seems like most of the games I can think of have had later versions made anyway that I just haven't played. Maybe Earthbound? I can remember the graphics sort of turning me off the game at first since the perspective got kind of weird in some rooms. I mean, it was really fun overall but those really bothered me.

Oh, my mom would be so happy if they remade FF7. She thinks it's the greatest game ever (I was probably the only 3rd grader who knew who Sephiroth was). She keeps talking about how much she wants them to remake it. xd
I'm not sure if there are really any games I want to see remade. Or at least, not ones that come immediately to mind. Most games that I like, I still have my copies of, so until they stop working, I'm happy.
Maybe some of those old Playstation games that people say are wonderful, that new copies of are now insanely expensive. xD

I'm not sure how I feel about that mechanic. It's certainly different, and it discourages level grinding. XD I'd want them to make the Laguna story a little more clear, as well as the stuff with Seifer--maybe it was just me, but I felt a little bit like they just forgot about him. rofl Okay, maybe not that they forgot, but just didn't do enough with him as they could have. The part with Ultimecia could be made more clear, for me at least, too. Ah, that's cool! smile
