We've all had this happen before, your guy has 3 HP left and the guy your facing has a 2% chance of hitting and like a 0.00000000001% chance of a critical and...he somehow MAGICKALLY gets a critical and you die...(this happend to me in a coliseum battle the other day).
IS IT JUST ME OR HAS THIS (OR SOMETHING LIKE THIS) HAPPEND TO EVERYONE A LEAST ONCE BEFORE!!!! gonk

Ack! I know what you mean! It's happened too often for me to site just one example,
But I noticed (at least I think I did) that the chances of that happening are better in the GB titles compared to PoR. The laws of probablility all but seem to be non-existant sometimes.
But I was playing PoR and I was using Jill for the very first time, and I was at chapter...16 I think. Anyway long story short there was a mage with thunder that SHOULDN'T have even done significant damage. Then BOOM, critical hit. Jill died. I had to redo the chapter.
It's quite frustrating. But I guess that's what makes the game so good. That's what I think, anyway. 3nodding

only happened once where marcus's hit was 99 and he missed both times gonk

in fe:blazing sword, i was in the colleseum training my ppl and this stupid beserker had a 2% chance of a critical. i tried to quit and it wouldn't let me so i died........ i had been training my ppl on that mission for like, 8 hrs and i now will never use lowen again....... DAMN YOU GREEN HAIRED PANSY YOU!!!!!!! DAMN YOU!

Let's see... something similar happened to me once with Kent (as a Paladin) I sent him to attack a Nomad (the first time you get to Dread isle) Kent had 93% of hitting and pwing the Nomad...he missed twice. And in the Pirate Ship chapter Lucius was criticalled by a Merc with 1% of critical. (Lucius died...)
