Post what games scared you when you were younger/scare you now! don't make fun of anyone over the games that scare them just because you weren't scared of them doesn't mean no one else was :3

Games that scared me:
Dead Space 2 (the monsters that sound like little kids when they die D wink
Friday the 13th (NES) (I wanted to be cool like my brother I was 6 at the time and he was playing it at night in the dark scared the ever living crap out of me >.<)
Resident Evil games (Up until 4 because I didn't play/watch part 5 but every RE game has something that jumps out that makes me jump lol not in an OMG SHUT IT OFFFFF type way just jumps me a little XD)
Silent Hill games(They give me creepy feelings which I have to say is thrilling and fun in a way and makes me more connected to the game as if I was actually in it :3)
Parasite Eve (The baby like boss creeps me right the fack out! >.<)

That's all I can think of right now off the top of my head if I think of more I'll add them XD now it's your turn GO! XD

When I was younger, I was terrified of my character drowning. Underwater levels were like nightmares (ironically, I eventually had an actual nightmare that was very much like an underwater game level). Especially in Super Mario 64, when he'd get close to drowning. From that same game, Bowser's laugh terrified me to death. xd

Nowadays...I don't know. "Scare" is such a varied term. Does it count as being scared when a mob of enemies is chasing me and I'm panicking because I can't face them all? Or, would it be when I actually start thinking about the story/concept (Silent Hill, definitely), and then I get scared? xD

But one I can definitely think of...it was just a single line...and I'm sure that if anyone here besides me has played Alan Wake, you'll understand exactly what I mean:
"That's when I heard the chainsaw."

As lame as it sounds. When I was little some of the levels on the very first Spyro game scared me. Dark Hollow in the Artisan world and some of the enemies in the Dream weaver world come to mind.

Granted I was like, ten years old at the time...

As for now? I don't really play that many games that would be considered scary. Although sometimes some levels on video games make me feel uneasy I wouldn't say they scare me.

There's no real right or wrong answer to this thread,it could be stuff that scares the crap out of you or makes you uneasy :3

@Fumyo:I don't think it's lame that Spyro scared you when you were younger,I never saw the games but like I said different things scare different people (:

I thought of another specific one--while I wouldn't say Halo is a scary game, I could not play Flood levels at night. *shudders*

Oh, and you know what else? King Jingaling's throne room in Banjo-Tooie, once Grunty sucked the life out of him. I liked the song ("In the Hall of the Zombie King"), but boy was I terrified to go in there. My friend and I would play it together and see how close we could get to Jingaling without freaking out or getting attacked.

In that same game, Grunty Industries. Inside the building, there were these security cameras, and if one saw you, it would release these horrible things to attack! I pretty much avoided the whole level until my friend and I snuck up on one of the cameras and destroyed it. I still panicked whenever I entered a room with one, though.
