Yes, I went there.
I have played every generation of Pokemon and I still enjoy the game. I still own Platinum, HeartGold and Sapphire. I also have Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs, but the offshoot is kinda dull.
But the main reason I wanted to post this is, Pokemon Black and White come out on Sunday. I have a copy of both reserved. It's unusual for me to get both but I'll figure out what I'm going to do with both later. But I'm actually excited for the new gen and the new features they're adding. Triple battles sound kinda fun.

Ever since I saw the first movie, I've had an unshakable soft spot for Mewtwo. XD
I also like Pidgeot a lot.

So, you're a classic pokemon lover. I have a soft spot for legendaries but I also love the starters. The new legendaries really sound kinda nice. I think i like the white dragon a little more.

Well, I can't remember most of the Pokemon from Gen. III--I really need to replay one of them sometime. As soon as I finish TWEWY, I'm going to play Platinum, and that'll be the first Gen. IV game I play. (My non-Pokemon phase set me back a bit. XD)
Reshiram, right? I like that one better, too, and almost got Black for it. The allure of the White Forest won out, though.

Black and White come out for us tomorrow. Which is strange considering that the UK almost never gets a game release before the US and Canada. I know it's only a few days but still. Some of my friends pre-ordered the game and it actually came early for them.
I'm planning on getting white since my girlfriend is getting black. In truth I don't know much about these games. I didn't look up much about them. I guess I kind of wanted to go back to that feeling when I played Red for the very first time. I know it won't be the same, but I'm excited to play it all the same.
I think I kind of wanted to get black for Reshiram as well but Zekrom won me over in the end since electricity is one of my favourite types.

That reminds me, I've had a few friends say they see me as a water type. I'm not sure if i have a favorite element.

I got Pokemon white yesterday and I was playing it for a while last night.
It feels a lot more stylized than the previous games. More futuristic somehow, I mean I know Pokemon already took place in somewhere somewhat futuristic but now you really feel it. I lot of standard things, like the rival battles at the beginning of the game are sort of toyed with. It's actually pretty fun. I'm still not very far yet so I can't comment on much else.

I get to pick mine up tomorrow at 11am. XD I doubt I'll be sleeping well tonight. lol That was stupid but it might happen. I get weird as i get tired, and I think a little hyper.

I slept pretty well. But I'm still tired, but that's my normal. I also got the collector's guide with the games. Now to pick which one to start playing. XD

believe it or not, pokemon diamond was my first pokemon game. I love pokemon with a passion but i could never get my hands on one until diamond came out. i cant really pick a favorite, but i do have a favorite type!! whee
