Hi There! I'm The Night Patrol's mule and I have come to deliver the entries to you, the z!CB!
These last few weeks have been eventful for me, as a lot of entries have been piling inside my box! Entries have closed earlier- Oh you forgot the rules and details? Here you go!
The details from the contest that was extended and re-extended several times do to lack of participation!waIlflower/asianretart Welcome to the Night Patrol's first birthday!
I'm Papa Emi here and I'm hosting this section of the event!~ o u o
So, the Night Patrol is looking a little bit bare for a moment :c
We need the members to help our little thread to look nice.
To do so, we need arts, videos, stories and even poems!
(and Perfy and I would really appreciate if you can draw the Night Patrol Mule too heart )
But heres the criteria for this event- You have to draw or mention anything about the Night Patrol or sleeping, insomnia, staying up late, etc.
Oh, by the way!~ Two Entries per person. Entries are due by Sunday the 6th of March 2011, 12AM EST (4pm Australia time on Monday c:<)

When posting your entry for this contest, you will have to PM NPs Night Owl with the title as "Sleepy Message for Nighty!".
Then, the NP mods (Perfy and I) will store the message somewhere safe >;3

Tonight would be that night.
Though the moonlit hours
Would all be ours
We'd dance in the light of the moon.
We'd laugh and we'd sing
We'd play and ring
For the midnight hour is ours,
Our time to laugh and be ourselves
No other to tell us our way
But here the sun rises
The night is behind us
And no longer can we play
For the sun calls us away
To work from play, and whittles away our hours.
So if ever there was a night to live
Tonight would be that night. cave_dweller_candy (Miss P = Miss Perfection, Emi = waIlflower/asianretart) Thunder was rumbling. Lightning was crashing. Animals were howling. Rain was pouring down. But amidst it all, the moon stayed bright and glowing - for it had a job to do. Light up the night. That same night, the members of the Night Patrol were whispering and talking, playing games and nomming on biscuits ~ when all of a sudden they heard a cry. “Help me! Help me! Oh please, something terrible’s happened!” So they ran outside in dismay, wondering what on earth could be wrong. Looking around for the owner of the voice, Miss P and Emi looked up at the sky. The moon was crying, adding more water to the storm from its tears. “What’s wrong, dear moon?”, the Night Patrol asked. The moon told them about how the lightning and thunder was scaring her, for it was this moon’s first time shining at night. “I-I-I’m so scared. And no one else was awake!” the moon sobbed. “Oh my,” said one of the Night Patrol Members. They talked amongst themselves about what they should do to help, and soon reached an answer. “We’ll camp out here tonight!” Miss P said happily. “Even in the terrible rain?”, the moon asked, clearly astounded and shocked. “Of course!” replied Emi. “After all, we love rain, and we love the night!”, the members announced. The next day, the moon had gone and the sun was sparkling brightly. The Night Patrol awoke, yawning and stretching as they slowly overcame the faint sleepiness. “What an extraordinary night!”, Miss P said. “I agree,” Emi responded. As they got up off the ground, the night patrol had to wonder whether it was all just a dream - but the sight of grass beneath them and pure blue sky above cleared all doubt. They’d fallen asleep under the watchful eyes of the stars and close to the nervous moon, and what a good rest it was! Kamstr0 There is a time, After Nine,
Around Midnight, The sound is sublime,
An Owls hoot, A branches scratch,
There is A dream about to hatch.
A fright at night is impolite, so why not grab a pillow
and follow the light,
To the Night Owl's Patrol,
They Patrol the night spreading joy and wonderous delight.

Ffffffffff, I dunno whose to pick. gonk Nim's is friggin' awesome with all its references, but Kittycross's is just lovely. D:
...I think I see something about Kat and Nespin on the zCB magazine in Nim's picture. XD It has the sad jellyfish, too. And... pff, the window has the minimize-restore-close buttons. XDXD
