Hell must know there have been worse things I've done, I hold out these hands to receive the sum Purge these days Water God Kano coughed lightly as the world slowly came back into focus. On all fours hair soaked in a strange mix of oil blood and water. Blurred were the fabrics between reality and memories. Something cutting him down in the fury of a thunderstorm. Trying to make sense of it all he almost didn't notice the large mechanical device about to devour him. Years of training kicked in despite lack of coordination he scampered away to a safe retreat beneath a canopy of rough metal. Calm down! Focus! Taking a deep breath Kano placed the jumbled mess of memories and fiction aside to survey his situation. Kano the once proud leader of a nation was now cowering under a jumbled mess of metal with no weapons. His clothing torn to shreds and his body covered in cuts and bruises. These were the facts. "What the hell is this place?" He asked as he looked at the machine which was going to devour him a moment before. It seemed to be a device in this junk yard whose sole purpose was to simply destroy other machines and collect the scrapped parts. "Tch..." Kano rolled his eyes at his earlier surprise. This whole place was foreign to him and without knowledge he was at this strange new world's mercy.

The engine roared, dust formed a cloud around me as the tires of my RX-90 cut through sand. That's right, baby. Just a bit more to go 'til we catch that ********> Coming up around a corner, the mechanical beast could be seen, ripping through the only thing I had known to be home. I pressed a few shiny buttons and my baby beeped back at me, knowing just what to do. With Xeke set on auto-drive, I pulled myself out of the car to sit atop the door, gun resting carefully on the roof of the car. Deep breath. Aim... Staring carefully through the scope and exhaling, I squeezed the trigger.
The bullet I had tried so hard to aim perfectly went whizzing off course, just grazing the mass of metal. <********, ********, ********, ********! Baby, we messed up! The giant turned its head, clearly aggravated by the disturbance, and pounded across the junk yard towards me. I ducked back into the car and switched off the auto-drive, attempting to haul a** past him and around the next corner when his fist came down hard in the sand, barely missing Xeke. I spun the wheel hard, not entirely able to see through the new puff of sand and dust surrounding me, and the tires lost traction sending me and my baby spiraling into a pile of busted up, old junk.

Hell must know there have been worse things I've done, I hold out these hands to receive the sum Purge these days Water God Kano stared blankly at the large vehicle which drove past him before coming to a screeching grinding halt in a grated mess of metal. "Well that's quite an entrance." Kano said under his breath as he stepped slowly towards the metal heap that seemed to belong to the girl he'd just seen perform the most spectacular things he'd ever seen with what looked to him like some strange metallic dragon. With his crimson red eyes trained on the vehicle Kano boldly stepped closer. "So whats all this then?" He asked oblivious to the other machine which had left the 'Rx' immobilized.

Groaning and popping the door open, watching it fall clean off its hinges, I dragged myself from the wreckage of what was once my beautiful car, I stood myself up on shaking legs to take in the full amount of damage. I clutched onto my head as I circled the poor heap of crushed metal, the whole frame would need a lot of work. "I'm so sorry, baby. I'll get you fixed right away, I promise." Running a hand across the hood of Xeke, which was dented in a way that forced it to bunch up on the left, a tear fell onto the scratched paint. "I really will kill that thing..."
So wrapped up in my own misery, I hadn't noticed the crimson-eyed man make his way out of a pile of old, rusted metal and speak to me. I rubbed my eyes and blinked up at him, forcing my brain to listen to what he'd said. "What's all what?" Making her way through the wreckage, she maneuvered her way over to the newcomer and eyed him thoroughly. That ******** was over here with him..This is his fault!
"You b*****d! Look what you did to my baby! He needs entire body work that's going to take me weeks! You get right the ******** over here and help me push him home!" Rage shook my body, filled my eyes. Yes, you will pay for this. I stumbled over to the driver's side of the car and began to tear away all of the fallen scraps from the pile of junk I had managed to smash myself into, kicking and mumbling to myself.

"How amusing, the woman thinks she can order a god to do her bidding... Well how about this, girl. You give me a tribute and perhaps the god will give you the blessings of the almighty" Kano boasted simply as though this stranger had any idea who he was.

I cocked my head to the side and placed my hand on my hip. "Girl? Look, I don't know what the hell you're going on about, but if you don't help me get Xeke out of here and back to safety I will personally see to it that you lose a limb or two." God? This man must have some serious kind of complex, calling himself a god Shaking my head, I continued to pull scrap after scrap from around my car until the majority of it was piled neatly, far away from my baby.

Hell must know there have been worse things I've done, I hold out these hands to receive the sum Purge these days Water God Kano looked down at the girl working tireless to remove her vehicle from the other metal. "And why should I help you repair this metallic trash mount? Why not simply get a new one that doesn't reek of oil?" Kano asked curiously crossing his arms over his chest. "and why give it a name if it's not living or a weapon? You make no sense to me."

Climbing over to the driver's side, I grabbed the door and shoved it in the back of the car as I glanced up at the strangest individual I'd ever met. "He is not a trash mound! His name is Xeke and he's saved my a** plenty of times! Not to mention he's packed with enough ammo and explosives to blow your happy a** up."
I leaned in the car and carefully attempted to push it backwards, using the steering wheel to maneuver my way around the rest of the scraps of garbage and face it towards home. A trail of oil revealed itself from beneath the car and I sighed, popping the emergency brakes and coming to a stop.
"You should help me because it's your fault I'm in this mess. Now get behind the car and start pushing. You don't want to be here when the sun goes down."

Hell must know there have been worse things I've done, I hold out these hands to receive the sum Purge these days Water God Kano raised an eyebrow in curiosity once more. "Oh? What happens come night fall? Do the predators come and have their way with you? Well do not worry your precious little still beating heart over me." Kano said lowly before walking to the scrap heap she called xeke and placed his foot on the bumper. "I guess pushing this thing around though could give me a bit of exercise." Kano said waiting for the woman's next instructions. Surely they would come soon seeing as how from the moment they'd met all she'd done was yell and bark orders.

They don't have their way with me! But in this current situation.. Well, ok, they might. Who said I was worried about you anyways?" I turned back to shoot the man a glare. "And don't you dare kick my baby." Climbing back inside the car, I fidgeted with the controls a bit until the monitor came to life after a few kicks and expletives , giving me our location and the route to get home. "Perfect! The battery is still good. Now, all we have to do is push him home. I'll push from here so I can keep steering and you can push from the back, got it?"

Hell must know there have been worse things I've done, I hold out these hands to receive the sum Purge these days Water God Kano shook his head and grinned. "So this is how you enlist someone's aid? You bark out orders and make them do the heavy lifting? Sounds like a general to me." Kano said softly chuckling to himself before finally giving up and leaning his weight against the ride to push it. "So if I'm to do this for you at least you can tell me a bit about yourself or at least this strange place." he said trying to coax some info out of the girl.

Heat crept over my face, turning it a light red as realization set in that I hadn't even asked the man's name. Come on, get with it! He's a random stranger, who, apparently doesn't know where the hell he is, who's to say I can trust this guy? I began pushing the car, tires digging into the sand but managing to make it through. "I could tell you aren't from around here, but you don't even know where here is? Jeez, you sure picked a hell of a place to land yourself. This here is what we call the junk yard, not much else to call it. All the city's scraps and mechanical failures ended up in this s**t hole, where myself and the rest of my group happen to reside. No one's come here in ages, not from the city anyways. Occasionally get a few lost travelers though." Peeking back over my shoulder, and eying the man once more and continuing to push dear Xeke, I asked "What's your name, kid?"

Hell must know there have been worse things I've done, I hold out these hands to receive the sum Purge these days Water God "Kid?" Kano asked stopping himself from pushing the vehicle any further. "You need enlightenment." Kano said sailing through the air before landing on the hood of the car. "Let your soul drown in true despair as you realize your life has been in a drought without having the savior of the sea in your life. Realize now how deep your regret can be as you face the Spirit of Ys! The Five River God! The Ocean Dragon Lord! The Immortal Demon of Dark Water!! I am Kano the Water Shadow of the Village Hidden in the Mist who under my reign has territories that span across the nation of I have renamed to Kiri! Bow to the God of the Water!" Kano said boldly and with fervor as the skies darkened and the rain began to pour whilst the man posed with his foot on the windshield like the captain of a ship. Whether by coincidence or by the man's true power had yet to be seen but it was inconsequential to Kano at this point because as the water washed away the blood and oil on his face Kano felt himself rejuvenated and his power slightly restored to it's former glory.

So here it is, the planets cried. We'll rip the stellar sky. Staring up at the sky, watching the clouds roll across the sky as rain fell down, splashing against my face, I couldn't help but wonder if the man standing next to me had caused this or if it were purely coincidence. Water god. Surely not, since there's no such thing in existence. I shook my head clear of any silly thoughts of water gods. "Look, you're just dehydrated. The rain water here is safe, so have your fill, we can take five and when you're feeling a little better we can keep going. The heat does crazy things to us all. I've just learned to deal with it, being out here so long." I reached inside the car to grab a metal cup and closed the car door as to not let the interior be trashed as well, and held it out to fill with water. Handing it to the man, and hopping up to sit on top of the trunk of Xeke, I lay back, letting the rain soak me. "It doesn't rain here often, so this is a nice treat. I apologize for pushing you too hard. My home is only a couple more miles east, I'll be sure to keep an eye on you and if you need rest we can stop."
Make way when walls collide. I know your heart but still will reconcile your mecha love.

] Hell must know there have been worse things I've done, I hold out these hands to receive the sum Purge these days Water God Kano sighed heavily shaking his head. "You people have no appreciation for the grandiose nature do you?" he said more to himself before lying himself down on the hood of the car letting the rain fall upon him. The cold gentle splashing of each drop soaking him completely. "Ah much better" he said before looking down at the girl. "Doesn't rain much? Sounds like I'm not going to like it here too much. I hate dry places. Makes me feel naked when I'm on land too much, sea legs can do that to a man." he said. "So we have to push this thing a few miles? Isn't that a bit much? Isn't there some way we can leave it? Just come back for it later with a way to fix it?"
